The injury/loss of Simon won't help though.... he's strengthened us no end since his inclusion and with Lewis in the top 5, so hopefully we can get decent guests for next week

Well the defeat was inevitable with that pathetic team (no disrespect but we were never going to challenge for a point let alone win without our top 2) and Rob said more or less the same - so yes it would be encouraging to know that the weakest link(s) in the team/squad are in danger of losing their place(s) , as its certainly not impossible that such a farcical situation won't happen again in this crazy sport!

credit where credit due - Stars were SO much better this week certainly helps to have 3 heatleaders for a change - keep it up Troy! Plus an awesome performance from Lewis and another good show from Simon and we never looked like losing a match i was sure we'd lose!! NBJ had an ok debut with plenty of effort for little return and same for Mads who looked far too slow :/ Actually looking forward to our next home meeting now lol

We havn't replaced Troy yet so this is surely another home defeat...... The promotion know where the problems lie so why the heck are'nt they doing something about it ..... ? Theres still half a season left to achieve something better than the wooden spoon

Yes, Ken for Troy and Niklas for Kai would certainly improve our performance at the moment! Everybody can see the team needs a revamp except the promotion!! Thankfully they've seen the light with Simon for Carl ...... perhaps theyre waiting for Simon's average to rise above Troy's so he can drop to reserve?

well lets hope he can find a bike at least.......

maybe Kai should be given some breathing space ( he rode well for his points at Wolves imo and they were vital points too)..... Batchelor though was poor indeed especially not borrowing a team-mate's bike when offered .... even Kenny Bjerre didn't get as low as that!!

the Stars team is still far too weak..... ok it was exciting on thursday but we wouldnt have been struggling for a draw if 2 team members had done their bit !! I cant understand why we apparently have a squad [Jacobsen and S.Lambert ] but arent at least trying them out ?? Failing that - strengthen the team or we'll be battling it out with Leicester for the wooden spoon this year!!!

This result was down to Sedgemen riding at reserve. Whoever decided on allowing an established rider (eg Klindt/Sedgemen/ Tungate drop down to reserve needs their bumps felt . It would be a good idea only if teams had 3 draft riders and the two with lowest aves would be reserves ensuring that they still only race against each other..... As it is atm its totally unfair on the draft riders expecting them to compete with riders who've had EL experience and /or are/were PL heatleaders!!

Hmm true Its been a while since DW did PL .....but even so it doesn't seem quite right somehow...... maybe next year CC might qualify as a FTR ....

How can Cook be allowed to double down anyway? Apparently Davey Watt wouldn't be able to (not that he wants to....) because his EL average is too high?? If he can't surely Cook is way too high???

Davey Watt might be suitable for Rory but would be a negative move imo especially if Niels doesnt stay Troy for Rory and Zmarzlik or Przedpelski or Pawlicki or Pawlicki or Dudek or Lindback or Jepsen-Jensen or Mikkelsen or ahem... Woffinden for NKI would be more preferable tho

if e doesnt then w'ere back to square one - ie trying to persuade Nicki P or Zmarzlik or Lindback etc

If we can persuade Niels to stay Obvious answer would be Troy for Rory if averages allow - which they probably don't........

Yes Lynn were fortunate that Klindt's bike gave up When it did - he could've easIly gated to a 21pt max on that! Luckily they picked Lindgren as a guest though as they didn't have a lot else - but then Lynn were pretty inconsistent too tbh Poole wll marmalise us next week on this showing!!

Theres no escaping it Trees - however optimistic you may be , The Aces were very good and the Stars very poor -only NkI and Kai offered any resistance! Mads and Rory have been brilliant for us over the years but last night they were totally outclassed. I know we were consistently out-gated but the Aces were rarely challenged by these two! Maybe Rory needs to be a non-riding captain before he hurts himself and we need a 'proper' heat-leader replacement. We'll certainly need someone with talent to back up Troy when Niels goes!!
