  1. To be honest I thought more of Bomber, but was he told to drop the bike? Came across footage of the incident here: http://www.dr.dk/Sporten/Oevrig_sport/2006/07/23/104030.htm click on "Seneste SportNyt" take a close look at Bomber's left leg in the second close up replay, somehow it magically collapses when not touched - this after he said on TV that Andersen took his leg away. Still we don't want to doubt a Brit do we? Whose first in the queue to dish out the slagging off, or do we reserve that solely for our Scandanavian friends?
  2. I agree it was a superb ride by Nicholls, but is that what it takes to make Nicholls a winner???
  3. Andersen demonstrated tonight why Nicholls will never win a GP as long as he has a hole up his rear. It was hard riding and sometimes you have to be hard to be a winner. Maybe if Nicholls experienced this in a GP he might, just might, get enough fire in his belly to actually achieve something, though I doubt it. The incident was blown out of proportion on Sky to deflect the fact that it was actually a crap meeting, which it was always destined to be with Reading as the chosen venue. A lot of the posters on here haven't failed to deliver in jumping on the bashing of Andersen yet again. I wouldn't pay money to watch Nicholls, but I definitely would Andersen. The moaners need to ask themselves if they really want wing mirrors and indicators on Speedway bikes - I don't.
  4. Yeah he's definitely got engine problems, engines of the female variety.
  5. Surely the SWC can only be raced on an FIM approved track? Therefore it has to be at either of the following: Poole, Eastbourne, Swindon, Peterborough or Sheffield. Not sure about Coventry, think they lost FIM status a few years ago, unless they have re-applied since the improvements have gone on - maybe a Bees fan would know?
  6. Hey, I know Loram is getting on but I sure as heck would rather have him in the GP than Iversen, Zagar, Pepe and Richardson.
  7. I don't think anyone who finishes 25th in the EL averages deserves a chance, an average earned mostly as a reserve and a second string. Could just have easily put Bomber or Steady in instead of Richardson to make it more competitive for the bottom four places imo, because there is no doubt who will be at the bottom. If I'm paying £45 to watch the worlds best 15, I expect to see the worlds best 15, Iversen, Zagar and Pepe do not fall into this category, the former two not by a long way. My family will be saving a lot of money next season, we may even lose the habit of going to live GP's again, who knows. Bad business decision from BSI, because I won't be the only one who thinks like this.
  8. Andersen was not seeded for 2003, he qualified. He was seeded for 2004, following his missing a lot of GP's thru injury a la Hampel in 2003. He was seeded for 2005 after finishing 9th in 2004 and missing automatic qualification by 1 point. He also had an ef when in a qualifying place in the GP Challenge after being the highest scorer in the meeting. Any way you look at it, it is wrong for him to be excluded. You obviously don't like him and are totally biased towards Iversen.
  9. Yeah and I'm gonna win the lottery this week. Get real.
  10. I think he said he is considering it, he didn't say he was, but hey lets not pass up the opportunity of kicking the guy when he's down.....again.
  11. Plus also BSI have used him for the last three seasons to make money, they could at least tell the guy he wasn't picked and the reason why. Very unprofessional imo.
  12. As for the title of this thread "well done NKI" can someone enlighten me exactly what NKI has done?
  13. Yup for my money the Polish GP has come to Gollob's rescue more than once in recent years. So you're good at Bydgoszcz, so what. Instead of one Chrzanowski for 2006 we will have two in the form of Zagar and Iversen and Pepe the Pole ain't much better. Still every cloud has a silver lining, this is fantastic news for Lee Richardson.
  14. It's absolutely crazy to include the three that were named, the punters want to pay and watch the best not some washed up Pole, a Premier League rider and someone who spent most of last season as reserve, second string and 3rd heat leader only to gain an average that made him 25th in the EL. Barmy. I'll be keeping my money in my pocket this year.
  15. Not convinced at all by Zagar. Looked poor in Lonigo, looked crap in the recent ASL challenge at Peterborough - even got beat by Bager. He's only in the GP because of the tie up with his sponsors and the new venue in the 2006 series. It sucks.
  16. But it will of course be in Croatia, thanks to Mr Zagar's sponsors.
  17. I think you read it to quick, it says he qualified for the 2004 series. Interesting that he says he might switch naionalities, presumeably to race under an English licence. I think he has been hard done by, I mean Iversen and Zagar, give me a break.
  18. You are having a laugh. NKI will finish stone last and Zagar just above him probably courtesy only of the Slovenian GP.
  19. To select Iversen and Zagar ahead of Sullivan and Andersen is an absolute insult to two fine riders. Pepe maybe deserves a crack, but not surely on the back of further sponsorship of the series from Pentel, which is a major "reason" for his selection. Lets hope his back holds out and that he can be bothered to complete all nine rounds. Well Andersen's not happy! ANDERSEN BLASTS WILDCARD DECISION I'm sure he said a lot more but looks like the BSPA bottled it!
  20. That'll be the meeting where Bjarne Pedersen WORLD NO.6 finished 7th. One off meetings like that can not be the criteria for selection.
  21. He'll be lucky to finish 3rd bottom in each GP, I mean come on he's 25th in the Elite League averages, hardly merits inclusion in my opinion.
  22. Have come across a great little web site that allows you to look at all the various cheap airlines in one go. Handy when trying to book flights for GP's here's the link Skyscanner
