  1. I think I sprained my ankle. Now whats that number for no win, no fee?
  2. That is just so British and the reason why we never win at anything. I say well done to Middlo for sticking by his convictions and well done to Screenie for being honest with his self.
  3. Why don't you just go ahead and insult several thousand people Steve. You are so unbelievably arrogant.
  4. The whole idea was to run these meetings at smaller stadiums, to get an excited crowd create a party atmosphere. Rather large queues and packed terraces than a Sky camera panning around a grandstand with many empty seats. For once I actually agree with Steve, a bigger crowd will look good on TV. However, Poole is not the place to hold it and an awful lot of first timers to Poole (especially those with standing tickets) are going to be mightily hacked off when they get there and find their vantage points are truly awful. These people won't be keen to go again to the SWC, making it harder to get a crowd next time. They should have held the final at Peterborough like they did last time, everyone got a great view albeit a little wet if they weren't in the grandstand.
  5. Agreed, a very good performance from Team GB and quite unexpected, Although having three ex and present Eastbourne riders in the team was somewhat of an advantage. Mark Loram was outstanding, has someone finally taught him how to trap? A first also for Arlington, I'm sure I counted three passing manouveres during the meeting apres turns one and two.
  6. I doubt it, we haven't got any chance of winning whatsoever, despite the Middlo spin, we will be extremely fortunate to make the final.
  7. Rod Hull's dead. Think the Emu might still be going though.
  8. He did three dubious manouvers in the GP [ not like Mr Andersen that, ahem ] the one you mention.Heat 6 i was doing my nut at Muddle'ard.Domino effect ? What crap.Loram in red and Max in blue never even move out.Andersen in White takes Dryml's in yellow front wheel away causing them both to pile in.Lovely left elbow right in Ryan Sullivans kisser in Heat 12 aswell.Got criticised last time i questioned Mr Andersen better be careful, ahhh what the hell. Yes I noticed the incidents with Hans, he is been getting worse each GP. I think he rides with such arrogance and he definitely intends to knock people off. I still can't understand why Nicki is considered so dangerous compared to Hans. And yes, Hans definitely had the elbows out in the race with Ryan so that cost him any chance in that race and it was over for him. What absolute rubbish. I know, lets turn Speedway into a completely non-contact sport with no overtaking at all. First out of the gate wins, as all non-Speedway people perceive, lets confirm this for them eh? Get real.
  9. What absolute cack, Bjerre hardly touched Lee, if at all, it's not Bjerre's fault Lee had a touch of the Rune Holta's. And are we suggesting that all four back can be used on the third lap or whenever it was - bizarre.
  10. not acounding to neil street on sunday he said that gate 4 was set up for the danes and as jason won the meeting there would be no sour grapes Like anyone listens to that silly old sod.
  11. I thought it was a harsh decision to exclude Pedersen and despite what anyone says about him he is great TV. Surprised no one has mentioned how Crump completely took out Bjerre in the semi at the start line, how that was not re-run I just don't know or are you allowed to come out of the gate at 45 degrees to the right these days?
  12. Then that my dear fellow, is NOT a sell out!!!
  13. oh ok, presume he will get my info then! Mick Spink actually spannered on a couple of times for Hans Andersen last season incidentally.
  14. Shazzybird, I can tell you that Mick Spink lives in Peterborough and is currently a driving instructor, if you want to update your 'where are they now' feature of your site. Went to Canterbury several times - always used to holiday in Margate! Great track and I have many fond memories of the place. Cheers.
  15. You do realise how far Esjberg is from Copenhagan don't you? At least a four to five hour drive, a lot longer in a bus I reckon.
  16. I think one wildcard will go to Chris Louis, the other to Havvy or Norris. GIVE IT TO HAVVY!!!
  17. Seems a bit unfair this format as the guy who 'won' the meeting after 15 heats does not qualify! I know Speedway is into giving riders and teams second chances, but this is just silly. Say he was the top rider after 15 heats and then has/had an ef in his semi, he wouldn't get through! Madness if you ask me.
  18. Yes I agree 100% for me he is by far the best up and coming Brit this season. Neath has done well, but not in the same class imo.
  19. Fair comment, nothing rose tinted about Robbo's performances this season.
  20. I would go for one 'old stager' and one up and coming rider. On current form I would give the two wild cards to Joe Screen and Danny Bird.
