  1. Also Flint crashed during practice laps at Redcar. But he has continued although he only has 1 point so far, so struggling a bit with an injury?
  2. Yeah, I wouldn't bother explaining it! They prob enjoy it more if they don't know what is happening
  3. Redcar by 14. But if Berwick can keep it to 8ish, will make the second leg interesting!
  4. Hans counts as Champ standard though as he did ride in it last season. Not like he is Bewley or Zagar etc who wouldn't be able to without a ridiculous average!
  5. Looking at averages on confirmed signings thread, I would put Josh at 2 (esp at Wolves). KK at 5 be better (as he has ridden for Rye House in the past!) Or even PT. I am quite shocked Josh's average is that low! Was going to say Edwards will be okay around there as he rode for Eastbourne, but I remember David Norris saying how different Wolves and Eastbourne are. The amount of times I have been to both tracks, I should know that anyway! I will go for 47-43 to Wolves (if Zach outscores Edwards - which he should!)
  6. First home meeting of the season is the one you are most likely to lose.
  7. First home meeting of the season and it is already a must win
  8. Wettest March since 1981 apparently, so just unlucky. Dry all next week
  9. Interesting! Did they give a reason for it? With the younger riders lower down in the order they will have to be really up for it!
  10. Hmm, interesting having press day on 1st April! Is it a joke, is it not a joke??! But at least they didn't call it launch day
  11. Yes, that is true! Although some clubs will base their team around one rider. Poole did it with BK in the Prem. Wolves with Sam Masters and Swindon would do it with Leigh Adams and later on Jason Doyle.
  12. No other Champ fixtures on 10th May, so should get a good team together
  13. Steve Worrall says he wants to stay at Poole until he retires (do well to keep the stadium that long tbh!) So as long as he stays another 7 years then all good
  14. Be interesting to see Salty's answer to this as I remember it being called off not not why! I would assume officially it would have been a dodgy forecast? I think Poole had to get Lakeside's permission though. Furthest for me was Birmingham but was only a riders champ meeting so not the end of the world. Been quite lucky as been to a fair few meetings that prob should have been called off lol. Would never go ahead now. The one I most remember would have been at Coventry for 2003 KOC Final. Was prob wetter than the sea!
  15. Prob cos not many riders stay at one club for 10 years anymore.
  16. Wasn't there talk they lost their last few meetings comfortably and team average went down 1 or 2 points?
  17. That was from 2018 in the 'higher league'. Maybe slightly easier as less teams to get past in the table! But can be applied to either league now I think as similar size.
  18. Don't forget it is possible to be bottom for half a season and still win the league, so never give up hope!
  19. I don't think it does that. Watching streaming is not as good as being there imo. But it is good for people who can't attend because of illness etc, plus extra money for the club.
  20. They are meant to have ridden at least one meeting before you can do that.
