  1. Looked on livestream section of Poole website and nothing on there, so would assume not. @SpeedwayPortal will know for sure!
  2. Yes, 2 teams. Didn't realise it was £20, I was told same as normal league meeting. But maybe there is extra things going on as well.
  3. You are just being over dramatic as usual. Take last night for example, you said the track was dangerous, yet all the riders were happy with it! So maybe you are the one with the two eye patches!
  4. Rode through him?? How can you ride through someone, whilst only just touching them?! Might be trying to go for same line, but that's it!
  5. Heard by who? Someone official? If it just fans gossiping about in the stadium, wouldn't put too much faith into that!
  6. Didn't touch him a lot though did he? Anyway hasn't this been done to death now!
  7. I'm sure both Cook's would have been at the meeting anyway, so just makes sense!
  8. Got a feeling half ten, but don't quote me on that. May have changed.
  9. Although Rohan Tungate at Poole tonight. Not sure if he just watching, spannering or talking to Garry May about a team place ( as May is often at Poole meetings).
  10. I wouldn't know about the Glasgow track, only seen the odd race from there a handful of times!
  11. Club director Peter Facenna said: “While we were looking forward to a fiery encounter at the Coliseum last night, sadly any hopes of the meeting sparking into life and getting the tapes fired-up were extinguished, as the meeting was called off due to unrideable track conditions, which was despite the best efforts of the brigade of track staff. “We will bring news of the restaging date when known and look forward to igniting our rivalry with the Gladiators in due course. “Meanwhile, we’d like to wish Tom Brennan the best of luck in Riders’ Championship at Poole tonight. He has a burning desire to do well in the competition.” https://glasgowtigers.co.uk/hopes-of-completing-league-fixtures-go-up-in-smoke-at-plymouth/ Look at Glasgow with all the fire puns!!
  12. No one has really done any predictions yet! I'll go with 1. Bomber 2. Lawson 3. Pickering.
  13. Well it was! And then there were clashes with abroad. I think Bomber was at least one of the riders who would have missed originally staging.
  14. You still have the problem of no one else being prepared to hold the meeting apart from Poole. So people can suggest BV, Sheffield etc but if they don't want to hold it...
  15. Probably had an impact yes, but Poole track better prepared these days. Before they sorted the track out last season at end of August, I'd say no way would it be on. Also I think Redcar staying down after Plymouth rain off might have made them work harder to get it on. Also Charles Wright seemed keen if they could sort the track out. Definitely helps if riders are positive while track work is being done!
  16. He's just worried about the odds of a Poole rider winning doubling!
  17. But at Poole all the riders did a track walk with the ref and were all happy to give it a go. That is the difference! They prob had a idea how it was going to ride
  18. Going by what mac101 said about all riders saying it was dangerous going into first bend, then why would they try it??
  19. But not in this day! Not sure there is any way of defending it. I must say the Speedway Shambles twitter account is having a field day with this!
