Be better to have a guest if good one available. R/r puts too much pressure on other members of the team especially away from home. And especially when one of the KL riders knee 'blows up' occasionally
We are getting better crowds now in the Champ than we did riding on Mon/Thurs in the Prem. Most of it is down to riding on a Weds instead of a Thurs. But slightly more teams in the Champ has a bearing on it too I think. @Skidder1 will be able to tell you the average crowd in 2019. But I was really starting to lose interest in it that year so only went to like 2 meetings!
That is kinda crazy considering we could do with Plymouth losing!
Was gonna say a 'must win' for Oxford for top 6 but they are 8 points behind Scunny now. So more in a battle with Birmingham and Berwick not to finish bottom.
What about the glass grandstand? Also depends what year it was I suppose? Form also dictates crowd size. Have rewatched some Holder and Ward races on YT and is nearly double to what it is now. First and 4th bends were a few rows of people standing.
Poole got around 2500 against Oxford. You telling me a lower league can attract a larger crowd. Crazy! I mean it was on Good Friday but that is neither here or there
When we had Ward and Holder prob over 3000, maybe? Well definitely in the summer holiday season!
Maybe cos Wolves would have had to do r/r anyway, so if Sam struggled with his injury and had to pull out then would have reverted back to IRR. So wouldn't have really lost out.
Bit like Peterborough ended up doing with MPT.
