The issue is 2 out of 3 HLs are riding well. (A different one struggles each time!) Our team is not built to carry a HL so that just puts pressure on Drew and the Cook boys. The away meeting at Berwick is the first time in a while all 3 HLs got 10 or above.
They have had a few practice sessions over the season and I think it is because of not gating too well on home track. Polish teams have practice all the time so I don't see what the issue is?
That doesn't surprise me as didn't PT ride for Redcar last season so not any home advantage to gain a high average, whereas Peterborough has more of a home advantage.
Got 11 in playoff final and 8+2 in the league meeting last season. I'd say that is quite good for him as took him a few seasons to get to grips with Poole. But in last few weeks going from getting maximums to scoring zero at Glasgow, goodness knows what he is going to do!
I can't exactly remember who it was as I was watching BSN two nights running, but either Justin Sedgman or Adam Roynon said that when riding at KL they put Speedway Stars inside their team suit as the track is so hard there!
Before the away Berwick meeting I would have said Glasgow win for sure. But grabbing a draw when Berwick should have won gives me a lot of hope for Wed!
Also Lawson was unlucky in a couple of his first rides last night as he gated and a lot easier to defend a lead at Poole than BV!
