  1. I'm no weather expert but met office has it dry from 8pm, with heavy rain between 5 and 7pm. I guess how confident there are in the drainage system?
  2. Yep, plenty of Poole fans posting videos of the thunderstorm/heavy rain on social media to know it was the right decision
  3. I'd say keep as much space between themselves and Craig Cook as possible! However last season the first meeting between Poole and Glasgow was on my birthday, and I have a bit of a jinx with it, Poole never win on it, even at home!!
  4. If the weather doesn't win this one then 52-38 to Glasgow. Just too strong all the way through the team unfortunately.
  5. There are videos of the rain pouring down from Poole fans on twitter. Well at least one anyway and...
  6. Other Poole fans on twitter are saying it is raining in Poole now too. Seems to be the correct decision.
  7. I always take that emoji as meaning ' ergh/you're being ridiculous' sort of way. You know when someone says something stupid and you roll your eyes at them. That's how I took it. But if you didn't mean it like that then, my mistake
  8. It's a lot more difficult for me. Anyway not that I have to explain myself to anyone! I go when it is possible for me to go.
  9. Having said that apparently it is raining heavy in Weymouth atm.
  10. Yeah forecast is a lot better now, but when it got rained off at near midday, at that time it was 90% chance of heavy rain at time of meeting! Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I am sure the management are gutted that it looks a hasty decision.
  11. I'd like to think it will be rearranged before October! Trouble is if you rain off early, you should have waited and if you wait and the forecast is right then why did you not rain it off earlier.
  12. Trackprat logic for you! We have a full team, yet want it off?!
  13. I don't see how it can be inaccurate though, the chance of heavy rain during the meeting is 93% and 4mm worth of rain.
  14. Apart from heavy rain from 5-11pm!! You pay for the rent and all the wasted riders fuel then
  15. Yeah, the other problems are a possible thunderstorm but at least heavy rain hitting between 7-9pm!! Not all Poole riders are nearby, Steve Worrall has a long way to travel just to sit and wait for the heavy rain to hit
  16. Plus Steve Worrall has a fair distance to cover as well!
  17. Not surprising, they were talking about possible flooding on local news this morning!
  18. Well Well Well, Sedgeman doing good, 5 out of a poss 6 so far!
