I've had to start buying programmes recently as Poole scoreboard not working or not got anyone to do it! I relied on it a lot. I just went on british speedway website if I wanted to look at averages.

I really enjoyed the Champ final, obviously! More so then some of the Prem finals we were in like the Poole vs KL one. Only 2003 final beats it (and prob 2015 vs BV as that one was for Darcy) and not easy to win 3 in a row!! Actually this season I actually managed 8 meetings, which is probably the most since 2010! When I've managed 3/4 each season because of responsibilities and not living in the area.

Yes, the meetings when you guys had Nicki were so good! We nearly signed him once too!

Good to hear! A lot of love between Poole and Glasgow fans that attended last night. On twitter a few who work within the club saying how you are a credit to your club and how easy the Glasgow management are to deal with! A new experience, as in the Premiership everyone definitely hated us and would not attend our track very often!

Also a few people talking about having 2 rising stars next year in the Championship. If Hume has now been 'upgraded' then would have to 'let go' of two from this year from just that.

Be too high surely. How about putting Stefan into Rory's space and keeping everyone else, well prob have to jingle rider order a bit. But if you want to keep Danny and Stevie, will have to get a weaker 3rd HL. Edit - still might be too high! lol

Good to see Darcy got some footage of last night to watch at home in Aus. Also good to see some ex Poole riders supporting our win last night from Klindt and Freddie Jakobsen.

More competitive in the Championship I would say and definitely harder to win trophies and more teams! So I would say to stay in the Championship. I don't mind the Premiership but would need to be 10 teams for me to say I want Poole to go back up there.

Yes!! But I guess averages won't allow that and would Hume still be a Rising Star??

The echo article about Basso being in trouble with his girlfriend made me laugh. Well at least he's made the holiday eventually!

They did explain why they couldn't stream the final. But good that they are preparing to do some next season.

The booing was prob from the time when he squeezed Josh G and he ended up on the greyhound track. Some not forgiven him yet! Although he didn't get boo'd in the previous Glasgow meeting.

Cook had the momentum from 4th bend coming to the line, prob why ref said Cook. I did think Steve had it but I was by 4th bend so my angle wasn't straight. Although fans in front of me were celebrating and then stopped when they went over the line, like they thought Cook had it. Well my daughter thought Steve had it as well as she filled out 5-1! lol. A bit of scribbling out had to be done!

Okay but the ref only saw it in real time and even the photo only has inches in it.

Well, I was losing my voice after H4!! lol. Commersiations to Glasgow. H1 set the tone for the meeting I think. Very surprised that Glasgow didn't get a heat advantage all night. Some good racing in there as well especially in H15 when everything was already decided, you wouldn't have known it! Good to see Rory get a standing ovation after H12 and when coming to the tapes for H15. Happy retirement!!

But Poole chose 2 and 4, so if Glasgow wanted 1 and 3, doesn't make a difference!

Maybe they thought it would go the distance and might have been crucial.

I've clapped other teams when they won league titles at Poole, it may be through gritted teeth, but still done it. Always good to say congratulations to the winners!

If Glasgow end up doing it, I'll give them a cheer on the parade lap for you, how's that?

Still can't call this!! Could depend on Hume and Zach for Poole and Sam and Ricky for Glasgow.

Think it is 3 golden heats? Not 100% though.
