Tbf Matt did say being in the Championship wasn't a one season thing for Poole.

His best years in the Prem seemed to be at BV, can't he go back there? Not sure if there was a big fall out or not.

I only read the article cos he was talking about the final and how he thought they needed a 20 point lead. Quite complementary about Poole as well, I was surprised! Might have to forgive all his misdemeanours that have taken at Poole in the past! Berwick looking at have a good team especially if they get the last two right.

Glasgow prob done better in the final at Poole if you had Crump in the team! He definitely still knows how to ride Poole. Beat Steve Worrall and Danny King. Got 11 when last down with Plymouth, which included an exclusion so could have been more!

Not on the South Coast. Bournemouth Echo often gets the 'exclusive' when signings are announced. Either that or the REF events that are held during the winter.

I did know about Glasgow's last being about 10 years ago, but didn't know anything previous to that. So compared to 20 years waiting definitely not as long. But as my original post was very tongue in cheek I had to make out 10 years was long for it to work! Nothing personal meant at BV or Glasgow as I like them as clubs.

I would like to see Basso at Wolves personally. He did well at Edinburgh 13 I think (even though he said he found it difficult) so be interesting to see what he makes of Wolves!

Depends how impatient you are I guess. I thought 9 years was ages when Poole went from 1994 to 2003 without winning the league but I was a teenager then! Also if you come close a few times it must feel longer, or like you've missed your chance?

Lol, just a common theme i noticed! Glasgow and BV probably win the leagues next year now I've said that
