Nah, they were trying to start a brand new one off. Luckily the track staff saw and sorted it when KL riders went back to the pits. Thank goodness they didn't confront Cook about it, prob would have lost it again!
Until the next Craig Cook hissy fit. Funny how he has a problem with the Eastbourne track but doesn't mind when one of his KL mates try and dig a tunnel in the Poole track
Yes, you are trying to pin it on the SM, as Cook 'started' on the SM, there is only one person who instigated it. He often gets boo'd at Poole, so def not a fave down here!
Edit- But yes as a Poole fan I have no reason to defend Eastbourne!
But how many years have they done this, and never been a problem before. Tell Cook he has to stay in pits whilst presentation is on, where he was going anyway, so sure he'll agree!
Reason why I don't like Cook is cos he does stuff like this.
1. You are not allowed to ignore the ref
2. You are not allowed to ride off half way through the presentation
3. You are not allowed to attack anyone, whether you feel justified or not.
They always have been esp at Lakeside when they hold the rope out so riders couldn't take a sneaky look at the gates or turn 1 from the other side. Cook was in the wrong I'm afraid, the ref seemed to think so anyway if he put his red lights on. And what's this a few years ago when he nearly ran over the track doctor??!
