  1. See told ya!! Even with 2 of you trying to gaslight me. Did he even put points on his average? Isn't it similar? Fans put too much pressure on him like they did with BK back in the day.
  2. Not really what I said was it. Do I need to screenshot every post I read as evidence?
  3. Yeah exactly! If I named them then I would have to prove it. Depends if I can be bothered to find posts from 2 years ago really.
  4. Thanks for confirming Saves me looking up things from 2 years ago. Also think there was one Brum fan on here who said he was potentially going to be as good as Darcy but think that was to do with age more than anything.
  5. In that meeting he struggled at Poole a lot imo (when others were saying he was the next Darcy when he came over). Don't see how that is untruthful or hard to understand.
  6. Also Nic Klindt was at both Workington and Poole that year I believe.
  7. Lol. I'm surprised a KL fan brought that year up in the first place tbh. Also had the guest issue of both teams wanting to have the same one. So we had to settle for Nick Morris, though not sure if his average completely fit!
  8. He struggles at Poole a lot, so better off at Glasgow tbf.
  9. Did they win the league though? Oh no that was a team who were bottom for half the season
  10. Nope, but then again everyone thought he was going to be a HL after one good meeting in Aussie so maybe they learnt their lesson too? Can't just have it one way.
  11. I meant as he didn't score as many as last time? But tbf I was viewing it after H16. But he has since doubled his score. So maybe I spoke too soon as well!
  12. Looks like you lot jinxed Pearson or spoke too soon!
  13. Ok, you could be right about Hook there.
  14. On the Redcar Bears Talk thing. But they didn't sound 100% sure on it hence the question mark.
  15. Someone should do a South to North one to keep the Plymouth fans happy!
  16. Oh interesting. As it said elsewhere that she couldn't get a work permit for Plymouth..?
  17. They did say crowds were down on a Thursday compared to a Weds. But it wasn't the only reason for dropping down They also said running Championship reduced costs by 30% I think it was.
  18. However in 2018/2019 wasn't it home one week and away the next? People probably just found other things to do and dropped the speedway. I think if it was every single week at home prob would have been fine.
  19. He's just annoyed everyone has put Plymouth bottom and most of the time Poole in the top 3. Like it even matters! On the track where it counts.
  20. Good luck! Who do you think they support? As it isn't Poole! lol.
  21. It always seems to get talked about every winter. Here is the answer from the horses mouth as it were . “I know a few Poole supporters were hoping that we would go up (to the Premiership). “But we’ve already stated our reasons for being in the Championship a million times. Fixed race nights simply don’t work for us at Poole. “A Monday and a Thursday would be a huge financial risk for us. I know there was some comments about that, so I just wanted to address that. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/24025264.danny-ford-oxford-speedway-running-three-teams-2024-season/?ref=suit&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  22. Just don't see any weak links with Redcar, whereas others have them. Like, Glasgow is the second strings, Plymouth don't have 3 HLs, Oxford and Berwick have a 'weaker' 3rd HL.
