Broken his finger last Weds in H8 apparently.

Is it true everyone else wants to get on with it apart from Craig Cook? Some things never change!
-
Maybe if we moved back up! Can't see him wanting Championship racing.
-
Sure I read other posters saying it is on 14th or 15th May. Complin may have asked for extra time like Richie Worrall did.

Sheffield vs Ipswich 13th May

Not great for team spirit though, when one of your team mates says you should be potentially out of the team, and surely you don't sack someone when they are having their testimonial that year and is captain! -
Also see Jason Edwards not riding for Sheffield tonight, is that because he is injured also?

Birmingham vs King’s Lynn, May 13th 2024

If you are going to award points for a rain off, you would have to give majority of the points to the away team so the home promotion try their hardest to keep meetings on. -
Workington v Glasgow 11/05/24 3pm (Ch)

You kinda need Lawson don't you! He loves the pressure heats when you need a 5-1 to win. Steve is opposite, the less pressure the better. (This is going by what they say in streaming and press conference interviews in the past). -
You mean the cup in 2003 where if you were in the top league you put out a Champ level team? I can't remember what that was called either lol. Wasn't that what we first bought Lindback over for, half way through the season? Anyway... Craig Cook is always good at Poole whatever is happening. Same with Batch most of the time. I would be surprised if either of them got below 11. Be interesting to see how Tate does and how many secrets about the track Darcy has told him!! Sure he has mentioned the cutback on bends 1 and 2 if you don't make the gate. Vissing you would expect to be good for 6-8 points. The others is anyone's guess, depends how quickly they get the set up right and if they like the track I suppose. These next two home meetings a massive banana skins, be interesting to see how it pans out. Edit - prediction 48-42.

Maybe other teams aren't willing to go there then because of potential Polish fixtures? Berwick seemed to have a big gap in home fixtures last season too.

Yeah, not got a problem with changing the points allocated.

I wonder if that started when he rode for KL? -
Why? It's exactly the same as the league. Seems to me people are liking this to KO cup when it's supposed to more like league format.
-
Berwick would go out anyway as soon as Edinburgh or Glasgow got BP.
-
I don't get the issue. It is in a table format like the league. So if you have them in the league then you have to have them in this.
-
I was quite surprised by the article and wasn't particularly concerned about anyone's form. But after reading it you think why are they bringing this up? Am I supposed to be worried? I think if there are any team changes it will be Glasgow or Redcar rather than us.

Glasgow v Edinburgh BSN Cup 10/5/24@7-30

Looks like Scunny have best 2nd place. In Scottish and Southern it is all on who gets BP! -
Redcar v Berwick - 10/5/2024, Cab Direct Championship
LisaColette replied to pvm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
To me looking in as a neutral (some extended family are from Middlesbrough that's why I look in to see how Redcar are doing!). Two problems imo. Knudsen not doing as well as expected is pushing Connor into 3rd HL position when really another season as a SS with less pressure would have helped, as TJ would have held third HL position well imo. The other thing is if Redcar had a more experienced reserve like Berwick do with Borke then you prob could get away with things a bit more and instead of losing by 4 or 6, you would be winning by 4 or 6. -
Glasgow v Edinburgh BSN Cup 10/5/24@7-30
LisaColette replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Because it is a mini league, so same rules as normal league meetings, hence superheat as someone has to win on the night. Although technically no one lost! -
I would have though both Cook's would get a free pass when it comes to any team changes like Brady Kurtz used to

Remember listening to the podcast a couple of weeks ago and Klindt said about the difficulties of bike set ups in cold weather and said Steve Worrall said he has the same problem. Interesting that he decided to ride in Scotland! But I'm guessing it is even warm up there today!! -
https://x.com/BmthEchoSport/status/1788894253965275531 Can't say I am too worried. We have only done 5 meetings and I just assumed he wasn't 100% fit yet when we were at Oxford.
