  1. How does being at 5 keep him away from the big hitters? He faces the same heat leaders the same number of times in his scheduled rides as the number 1 does.
  2. Come to Peterborough - far better racing!!
  3. I hadn't seen this figure before.............. "Frost and Mahoney threw their backing behind the rescue effort by stumping up £10,000 of backing through sponsorship from their Readypower company." From Peterboroughtoday site - http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/speedway/speedway-news/panthers-saved-after-reaching-40-000-survival-target-1-6446635
  4. Don't believe everything you read on facebook!!
  5. There is a rumour that Fox might not be coming back next year. If he did come, it would be a bit of a risk at reserve - he wasn't great away from home. Also not sure that Joe T would be risked. Still a way to go to get his form back after his bad injury. Haven't worked it out properly but I think there would be 5+ remaining after your your selection. Would you prefer to face the Ippo team as announced/suggested or the Monarchs one you are suggesting?????
  6. Interesting. The other reserve needs to be a strong one then.
  7. He already does!! And Manchester United!! And Stal Gorzow! And Edinburgh Monarchs!! So what does it prove?!!
  8. Really?? I suppose Somerset, Peterborough, Berwick, and almost as bad - Edinburgh and Newcastle, must also be struggling. Only 2 riders named between them.
  9. Justin improved a lot this season riding with Cookie. Amassed a colossal number of bonus points too. Still young too so still more to come.
  10. So pleased that the effort put in by some fantastic people that I have never met has paid dividends. Just get the Fish back in the team now please!!
  11. Justin's back!! Great news. British Speedway ‏@SpeedwayGB 2m2 minutes ago EDINBURGH- Justin Sedgmen will be back with the Monarchs in the Premier League for the 2015 season.
  12. They're getting confused between RW and SW?
  13. If they are able to run in 2015, they still couldn't commit to 2016 until they see the crowd levels next year. So the funds are to run next year and give a chance of running in later seasons. EL, PL or whatever is irrelevant at the moment.
  14. When you read on facebook about the phenomenal efforts being made by some supporters to raise the required funds, it's very sad to see the energy wasted on here in petty squabbling.
  15. Bank transfers are possible - Lisa has given me the details. Hope others can now help out too. Just beware that there might well be Monarchs bricks in the wall!!!
