Slightly surprised in this day and age of Elf & Safety, to see not only riders doing a parade lap without helmets (great to see) but riders doing the parade lap with youngsters on the bikes too!! Missed the intros so don't know if the youngsters were family or not.

Don't very often see riders being brought forward in gate order. Usually it's the marshall doing a lot of arm flapping or swimming strokes!

Maybe. But I felt the track was pretty smooth earlier in the season.

Certainly was dragged out on Thursday and apart from Steady's efforts, it was pretty boring. I don't think the bumpiness of Foxholes helps the racing there but it has certainly improved Ippo's form and results.

And the stadium presenter comes over and sits amongst us. Can't hear a word he says mind you.
