I thought it was someone who was eligible for the 3 point slot as long as they are still below the average of the rider being replaced. And not on another play off team. Dan the Wee Man is on 3 and a half or so but presumably no other PL 3 pointer was available.

No bluff - we needed 8 or 9 from the Wee Man and a big score from Cleggy.

Dan is a good half a dozen points better than that now. Well maybe not now because he's injured, but up to the time of the Newcy match when he got hurt. Our best chance of progress was going to be if our 2 reserves came on to some big scoring by the play-offs but now one of them is out. Still we have got the big 3 and the new World Long Track Champion and the new NL Riders' Champion / Under 19 Champion so it's not all bad!! Might depend on how Erik's big brother gets round. Ippo got to be favourites for the tie now though.

If the track is smooth for him it'll (probably!!) be smooth for our guys who are used to always riding on a billiard table smooth track at Armadiddle!! (Though often a wet one!!)
