They obviously don't go to Berwick (as an example) very often. it's ours as well of course. IF it HAD to be run next Sunday, then so be it. But, thankfully, it didn't come to that (although we might be wishing it had!). You are quite right in praising Glasgow. They did what they had to do. Let Stevie and Robert go and make sure they filled the 2nd and 3rd spots as often as possible for 3-3's. As far as "no to Victor and yes to Tero," the points difference in the averages is Victor on 5.80 and Tero on 6.24, but there are quite a few difficult decisions to be made for the 1-7 in 2017, not just that one!

They had to be careful where they put the stand, due to the referee's box, I'd guess?

A bit like the Young Shield we had a few years ago then (apart from the weekend bit!)? It is rather ironic that the only reason Play-offs were brought in to the PL in the first place was that SKY said they would show the Final LIVE, then changed their minds. Despite the fact SKY show a few meetings through the season, they have no interest, it seems, in showing the 'important' PL stuff!!

I would back any of our (Newcastle's) top 6 against Sissis at Brough Park everytime. I'd even say I'd back our top 6 at Ashfield, as well. If Garcia (and best wishes on his recovery, by the way) does need replacing, there are very few options that Glasgow can bring in on the Sunday for this leg. Tom Perry, Max Clegg, Richard Hall, Zdenek Holub, Daniel Halsey, Ellis Perks, Lee Payne, Ben Morley, Josh Bailey, Arthur Sissis, Nathan Greaves and Matt Williamson are the choices available. Of those 12, I'd say only two or three would be a decent choice.

Rob Branford has improved no end in the last couple of seasons IMO. I think he will only get better, but certainly won't get any worse and he'll only be 23 come the start of 2017. Roynon doesn't have a particular liking for Brough Park, so I wouldn't go anywhere near him.

David Howe has retired. He has already said on Twitter he'd like to do just one or two meetings (speedway) next year, but is prob going to do grasstrack.

I'd hope we would have someone on 'standby' if needed. -

Riding in the Czech Rep -
They mean EL only. No riding in the PL as well.

What happened, in my opinion, was that they lost Glyn Taylor (for whatever reason) and also lost the Swales's. On top of that, they changed the track slightly and ever since then the racing hasn't been as good. The same can be said of Derwent Park. Since they reshaped the track slightly, the racing I saw every week when filming or when I was there doing the interviews (for GRT Media), hasn't been the same.

Do you not have to say the guest was awful, rather than the choice of guest was awful? -

Certainly one of the darkest...... -
Hans Andersen tried that a few years back, saying he hadn't been paid therefore wasn't going to ride - and was promptly banned for 28 days for withholding his services.

Rye House V Newcastle Koc Semi 1st Leg
StevePark replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Apperently Matej is at Brough on Sunday, not at Rye on Saturday (despite the line-ups on the Rye website says Kus is in the team!!). Sorry, Forgot Kus is Missing Saturday and not Sunday! They still might go R/R at 3 (I think I would), rather than switch Victor away from no. 2. -
