Rye House V Newcastle Koc Semi 1st Leg
StevePark replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Apperently Matej is at Brough on Sunday, not at Rye on Saturday (despite the line-ups on the Rye website says Kus is in the team!!). Sorry, Forgot Kus is Missing Saturday and not Sunday! They still might go R/R at 3 (I think I would), rather than switch Victor away from no. 2. -

Diamonds will go: Barker, Palovaara, Kus, Lindgren, Worrall, Morris, Phillips, in that order. -
Where's your 3 pointer? Or do you think that idea will be dropped next season? (serious question, not being 'funny' with you!). It's a nice little line-up mind.

Would fans be willing to travel (and prob have to take extra holidays) midweek for 'Big Events' though? The Pairs is only well attended on a Friday due to Cardiff being the following night, I would suggest. The Fours, over the two days worked well, from what you read on here. So that'll stay for 2017 you would think. Would the PLRC be attended as well if raced say, on a Thursday, rather than the Sunday?

Workington V Redcar 1/10/16 (pl) 19:00 Hrs

Eligibility has got little to do with it. The reserves may still be needed in heat 15 (eligible or not), so at least one of them should have been ready to go out. At the end of the day it comes down to being professional and Redcar have fallen short of being that on this occasion. -

A reserve can replace a rider disqualified for failing the two minutes in heat 15. At least Scunthorpe nominated two riders in heat 15 and we had four riders in heat 15 last week, unlike the farce of last night. As far as I'm concerned Redcar have brought the sport into disrepute and should be fined (unless they were last night by the meeting referee). -

Yes, but Lewi was replaced by Chris Widman, the guest reserve, so at least four riders went to the tapes for heat 15. As far as I can tell, Redcar only nominated the one rider to be in heat 15 last night. -

Fantastic professionalism then! FFS. Sod the fans. Redcar should be heavily fined. Thanks for the answers guys. -

Why was there no rider in white in heat 15 please? -
5.86. Just to confuse you even more, I'm not sure if he gets a 2% reduction though!

I know the late Kenny Smith called him a few names when he (Scott Smith) managed to run the battery down on the van, as he had hooked up the fridge with cans of booze in it and after the meeting, when he went to start it, Kenny realised the battery was flat as he couldn't start it!!
