Far more cost effective to have Gilkes than Kemp I suppose? Take your point to a degree, but apart from Wolves I would imagine every team he's ridden for would have thought him an asset in the time he was with them. Be interesting to see what Sheffield think come the end of the season.

Hopefully Drew has got his confidence back after last season and will kick on this year. Jason is really a season behind the other 2 and hopefully will get nearer their level this year, although still think his bike control is amazing for someone so young and relatively inexperienced, don't think I've ever seen him out of shape. If the speed progresses he will be some rider as well.

Indeed, is Nicki Pedersen still a Wolves asset? Both parties hated each other, but Wolves got a healthy loan fee from Eastie for all those years in the 2000's. On that point if he is, has a 'deal' been done on fees with off setting Broc's loan fee against Pedersen's for this season I wonder?

I see Drew Kemp scored 9+2 and Jason Edwards 8+1 for team GB today. A minor international against Australia but our young reserves should return fit and up for the task, looking forward to seeing them at Arlington.

If I remember, Broc had far more than one choice when he was signed by Wolves who looked at a long term plan with him. Bet he wishes he'd gone elsewhere now with some wanting him changed before the season starts. I know it wasn't in the Premiership, but at Eastie last season he looked to be star in the making, certainly on a similar pace to Richard Lawson at our notoriously tricky track from his first visit. As has been said being 2 points under leaves a possible window for a change or 2 ,but I really would start with him and think you will. (Sorry should be on the Wolves thread really)

Think it maybe lack of daylight during the winter months up north (unlike the sunny south coast), which drives some of them slightly mad, does seem to trouble some more than others though, but think THJ may need a UV lamp, and a bit more vitamin D this time of year, although thinking about it he doesn't appear to be a lot different in the summer.

Indeed, that's what I thought with them both going to Mildenhall.

He was injured which really curtailed his season, and do think the ties he has with Eastbourne and friends with Jason Edwards may have had a bearing on him riding for Mildenhall and not Kent again, especially as Mildenhall is a stand alone team. Think it's a good move anyway.

Hope he fulfills his promise this year, seen him ride before the match at Eastie since he was hardly big enough to staddle a bike and always looked so neat on a bike like Jason. Look after them both for us, sure at some point he'll be in the Eagles team as well.
