  1. He was responding to a gating comparison between Shanes and Lambert who i believe will be riding for Kings Lynn!
  2. No it's just a track you get a lot of passing on unlike Kings Lynn which is gate and go these days.
  3. Doubt if Schlein will ride for Kings Lynn again.
  4. He is going to have to improve a hell of a lot to get near being a no.1
  5. Of course we care as you do for Iversen who you would no doubt prefer given the choice. I hope Holder has a good season and he has been professional and said all the right things to please his new fans.
  6. He will fit fine. He will have a lower average.
  7. He may do but home is where the heart is.
  8. It is his choice to ride where he wants to and he chose not to ride here probably for financial reasons which is fair enough.
  9. I am very pleased Chris Holder is riding in the uk for Kings Lynn as Iversen clearly would rather ride elsewhere. A big bonus for Kings Lynn and the sport in general in this country. I think his issues with Matt Ford and his other personal issues maybe have influenced the decision on all sides but i do think and hope he will be back at Poole in the future. Good luck to Kings Lynn who deserve a bit of luck with their team next season after being very unlucky over recent years.
  10. Nobody has announced Batchelor yet perhaps Kings Lynn see him as the jewel in the crown. Holder was announced days ago when it was reported Kings Lynn had permission to speak to him.
  11. Well it seems Porsing has done a pretty unprofessional and ill mannered job then! I agree it would be nice if everyone had respect, manners and politeness but journalists have a different set of rules!
  12. I am a bit jealous of Kings Lynn fans getting to see Chris Holder every week but that is their gain, pretty much guarantees a lot of away fans in the Pirates meetings and obviously he will get a hero's welcome at Poole.
  13. Well he won't be a reserve to start with but if Josh Bailey signs i think he will be one of the best 2 pointers and with Kai is a good pairing.
  14. Looks a decent balanced team in the current climate which is mainly due to them being able to use mainly PL averages as opposed to converted EL averages. Some Poole fans may have had a meltdown the other way round!! Glad you said some! Gater1/Monster Daz/KKS criticised me for spelling! His grammar isn't too good either!
  15. I don't know why some are getting hot under the collar about the latest Daily echo Holder story when it was announced days ago that he had been given permission to talk to Kings lynn which is like saying he will sign for them. All they have done is stated the obvious which is that he will probably be unveiled at the fans meeting tonight.
  16. Yes thats what i heard which is why i made the comment
  17. I don't think Kyle will purposefully keep his average low, that would be cheating! Who is the concern then?
  18. Oh don't suppose they are too happy about him announcing that!
  19. Ok fine with me. so you think Kyle won't outscore Klindt!
  20. who would you rather have in the team then apart from Klindt who you cannot have as he wanted to ride elsewhere.
  21. Can't see him getting anywhere near that figure but if he does he will have ridden very well and wouldnt need to be replaced.
  22. I don't any Poole fan would argue against having Newman in the team. he is a local lad and extremely well liked. I think this could be his year to kick on. He is a rider who takes time to get his confidence back after injury and he has had more than his fair share in recent years so a injury free season would see him really improve a lot in my opinion and a chance to impress at Ipswich could also do him good. We all saw what he is capable of in the play offs, he just needs to do that consistently and he could hold down a heat leader position in the premiership.
