  1. Jamie was clearly out of his depth, Max is not out of his depth and he should improve as the season progresses.
  2. I did not think we should have signed him in the first place and he should not have tracks like Oxford that he clearly doesn't like. He will have to be a superstar at home to compensate.
  3. If Cooper rides like he apparently did last night I don't think we will be beaten but Oxford are a good team so we need to perform a lot better than we did at Oxford.
  4. A little worried as we were so poor at Oxford especially Bowes, Newman and Lawson, expected Bowes to be poor but Kyle and Richard should have been better. If Bowes doesn't improve he will get the chop in my opinion.
  5. No I don't think so,you will just have to attend. If you can't there is always speedway updates.
  6. Personally I think Plymouth are doing a good job most of the time, it looked a decent crowd because it was, yes it is smaller than most but usually produces more passing than last night. The good thing about speedway in this country is the variety of tracks, doesnt mean the racing is poor or not enjoyable because it is a small track. You mentioned Peterborough which was a great track that seems to be lost now and unfortunately it is highly unlikely there will never be anyone watching speedway from the grandstand in the future.
  7. Great result for Plymouth, always liked King, good to see him going so well.
  8. Kyle has done ok i think, I have no problem with him being kept.
  9. It isnt the track, Nicholls is usually terrific at Foxhall, he did not trouble the scorers at Belle Vue, are you saying Belle Vue is not a good track!!
  10. I hope Cooper does well, he is an exciting rider to watch.
  11. Its never boring when you win. I realise losing an entertaining meeting can be enjoyable but sport is about winning. Crowds do not turn up for teams that lose every week.
  12. But he didnt even beat PHB in one race or Kvech who also had a terrible night. Cant help thinking he must have had mechanical issues.
  13. We would not have won the title if we had prepared the track to the liking of the Glasgow riders. We only smoked Harris and Howarth in the super heat when the track had changed. Harris was unbeaten up to that point.
  14. You paid for a one-off stream when it was being shown by BSN! Surely it is much cheaper for any speedway fan to buy one of the packages offered by BSN.
  15. The track was not to Chris Harris liking because we prepared it for our riders not yours. What is wrong with that? The Oxford track was prepared with no material on it due to weather forecast, that is fair enough but it did produce a dusty track, not why we lost though, they were just gating better.
  16. Yes agree with that, I noticed at Kings Lynn he had two wins then two last places which could well have been machinery issues.
  17. I dont remember ever seeing that quote but I have no faith that Bowes will improve much.
  18. Lawson is usually good at Oxford so surprised, Newman was poor too but rest were as expected really.
  19. Bowes should have been taken out of his last ride but it didn't matter as Mcdiarmid broke down.
  20. What Neila making things up so he can have another go at Poole how surprising!!
  21. Sedgeman is a track specialist, he certainly didnt show it tonight though.
