  1. Yes true but why was Klindt, Jenkins and Edwards so poor.
  2. Surprised you couldn't find a photo of Leicester track from a few years ago!!
  3. Cluff should do well but Wood could also get a good score, he seems to have improved this season.
  4. Not a great line up for Oxford, seem to be relying on Dayle Wood to have a good one, for Edinburgh Kye is flying so should be a very easy home win. Injuries happen and you sometimes get lucky with who you can bring in and sometimes you dont, the guests for Oxford are clearly poor replacements.
  5. The comics are weaker without Cook but back riding tonight so that should please you.
  6. Glasgow should win this easily, Workington very poor at reserve and not expecting much from Batch.
  7. We normally have good battles with Redcar. Hope its a good meeting.
  8. Yes massively impressed by Jeppersen when he guested for Poole at Glasgow so should be a good one.
  9. Not sure you will have any chance of a win at Glasgow but Oxford at home should be a walk in the park.
  10. Yes it is a business decision to ride in the lower tier where the club gets as much revenue as the top tier but the costs are less, this is partly why the top division only has 6 teams, it must be very difficult to afford top riders especially when you dont get big crowds every week.In football you have to invest massively if you intend to stay in the top division once promoted or you get relegated.
  11. What I don't agree with is why someone has to be excluded, if the incident happened on the first bend it would have been all four back. As it was the first lap, there could be a certain amount of leniency in the rules for this type of incident where no one is really at fault.
  12. Looking at his scores for Kings Lynn he could do with a bit of Championship racing to sharpen him up!
  13. Bit concerned about the weather Steve. Forecast not looking great.
  14. Yes still a good team with Bowes performing poorly and I suppose being at reserve we would likely see an improvement but if we had an injury he would have to step up and not sure he is capable.
  15. You can rely on Kyle, not so sure about Bowes, the rest of the team cant cover for him all season.
  16. Yes I agree, we are always castigated for our track and told its not all about winning but if you dont win meetings crowd levels drop even if your track produces great speedway. I think Poole would make changes like bringing in Newman for Gilkes recently. We would not have employed Craig Cook and he would not have wanted to be at Poole, if he is out for a while then change him and Vinnie would be a good plan, no idea who for though.
  17. Exactly, these days you should be grateful you have a team to support, a couple of home defeats early in the season is not season ending. The list of teams that are closed is very large, to avoid being the next one is paramount. I went to Oxford a couple of weeks ago and heard someone say it was the last meeting but thankfully that wasnt the case.
  18. Maybe time bring a ringer in, like Glasgow have done in recent seasons.
  19. In my view Cooper turned left but probably more that he meant to, realising this Luke tried to avoid him but could not. To castigate him and calling for a ban is way over the top, I am sure Rob Lyon has had a word with him and he will learn from his mistake.
