Fair points made but personally think Jack Holder has far more potential than Ellis and with Chris in our team could have been helpful, haven't heard Chris won't be officially but understandable if he isn't with his high average. Personally wouldn't have Brady Kurtz with with his high average
-
Too weak at reserve, two 3 pointers at reserve is not an option i would choose. You could have Lasse Bjerre on a 6.65 over a point saved on Ellis and arguably a better rider. Ellis average is what it is and i don't agree it should be changed, he should have ridden in the PL last season, why he thought another year at NL was a good idea i don't know.
-
Terrible team in my view, can't use Ellis or Kurtz on those averages makes the reserves too weak, ok with one 3 pointer but two isn't viable. Regarding Ellis, Matt Ford has told him their is virtually no chance of him being offered a team place which is a shame but in reality you can get a better rider on a lower average, Batchelor, Watt, Milik, Gomolski etc.

I agree it is going to be a big problem trying to fit Chris Holder in and maybe would weaken the team overall.
-
Is their any truth in the 12 point cap rumour?
-
Well it would be a shock if that wasn't the case, Jack is going to have a big future in the sport.
-
Because he is British and liked by the fans, no reason why we can't fit both in.
-
His average will be about 11 now!
-
As we have now to use PL averages surely the limit should be way above 50 with a conversion of 1.4.

Rather have Kacper Gomolski on a similar average. -
Its fair to say Newmans average has gone up and down more than most mainly due to injuries. We saw what he is capable of in the play offs so if he could be injury free then his average would improve quite a bit in my opinion.
-
Why not just re-name this thread.
-
Steve knows those averages wont happen but be interesteng to see what formula they come up with
-
I have said before i dont think Fricke or Kurtz will make gp standard but Jack Holder will in my opinion, they all have time on their side but i think Jack has what it takes although the others could develop later like Doyle has.
-
Cant see how you can have different averages for their position in the team, far too complicated, the rules need simplifying
-
Fantastic result for Chris Holder today, also his brother Jack looked good, hoping they both ride for Poole next season.
-
The problem is we dont know what the criteria will be for the averages so we can only guess, i am sure Newman will be in the team anyway whatever criteria is used.
-
They always say they want to come back, it's called keeping your options open.
-
Not too difficult to work out which 4!
-
i agree it should be a conversion like the one worked out by SCB on another thread but only for EDR's. He scores well in the EL because he is riding against other EDR's most of the time, he is one of the best EDR's so that is no surprise is it.

You would have thought they would have released a statement on the website of the details of the agm by now
