Kings Lynn V Poole 28/05/15
foreverblue replied to semion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If we are comparing to football, what about something like football, i believe football teams have what is called a squad system, bit radical i know but has been mentioned in Dorset for years but come up against alot of resistance. -

Yeah right oh. Doesn't matter how short the notice is it could still be called off by the home team. -

Why wasn't Coventry V Kings Lynn postponed then? Surely Coventry didn't want to race against a depleted team. -

Yes you would have thought they would jump at the chance especially when some riders like Newman and Josh G did two meetings in the same day on monday. -

Yes we are but perhaps a better guest may have helped you, there are no other EL teams riding tonight why cant they get a better guest. R/R for Bjerre is ok as neils gets a extra ride. -
Swindon Robins V Coventry Bees 26th May 2015
foreverblue replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I have noticed that before about Swindon a bit over zealous and there seems to be loads of stewards compared to other tracks, why no dogs is a mystery, it is a dog track! A few years ago i took my own drink in and got told to take it out, most other tracks have this rule but dont enforce it. They arn't cheering because the rider maybe hurt though are they? -

Shouldn't your meeting at Coventry have been called off in the interests of speedway! -

So awful is a bit over the top and he is a good gater which is vital at Kings Lynn these days. Looks like its going to be sunny so no need to rush as there is bound to be a sun delay. -

He only scored 3 for Belle Vue this season and i believe he only beat Porsing and reserves in the play off meeting. as for the British semi he should get double figures in that field with ease, shame for Lambert he didn't qualify through injury and i hope Newman has a better night too. -

When he rode in the world cup at Saddlebow Road he was awful, more than happy if he is your guest. -

Bit strange really i have been going to watch Poole at Kings Lynn since Loram rode for us and it used to be so good in those days, the track shape and the way it is prepared doesn't seem too different to me but the racing is clearly not as good. -

The form Holder is in it would be better if he stayed at home and looked after Max!! -

I know he is a Poole asset but Josh G would be a good replacement judging on how he rode against us at Leicester -

Should be a close meeting hoping for a win with Janowski on fire at the moment, track should suit Gomolski , our reserves should outscore the KL reserves and Dakota North rode very well there earlier in the season, depends which Watt and Holder turn up, Watt wins easily or trails in at the back and Holder is just completely off form.Kings Lynn have their problems too but good news is Bjerre and Kerr are back but losing Schlein is a major blow, personally i just hope and pray he is better very soon and makes a full recovery which it looks like there is a good chance he will, Rory has been a fantastic servant to british speedway i expect him to back on a bike as soon as he possibly can. -

It wouldn't need to be that high to cut the time down significantly we waited at least half an hour for the last bit of sun to disappear and it was lower than the stands by then. -

It wasn't Leicester's team though was it, they had Zengota, Josh G and Charles Wright all of whom improved the side. -

One dropped in my opinion, after the heat 12 5-1 we should have managed to get the extra point but in fairness Josh G was very good value, winning heat 14 was key to Poole not getting the extra point and definately scored more than Bridger would. Some people would give anything to have the talent he has and to waste it like this is awful. But do they wait an hour for it to rise, it happens at Kings Lynn too but there it is only a short wait which is acceptable, surely they could put a screen up so at least you don't have to wait quite so long, very frustrating when you have a long journey to do. -

He looked awful to be honest not on the pace at all and kept making mistakes, perhaps he was knackered after the earlier meeting. -

Anyone who saw the meeting would know it didnt matter who was in heat 15 , no one had got within half a straight of Janowski all night. He is on fire fantasic performance, if he is dropped forDarcy it will be the worst decision matt ford has ever made and he has made one or two over the years! Surely there is something that could be done, other motorsports dont stop for the sun, we didnt have heat four until 9 -
