Looking at all the posts on here it's fair to say loads of people want something different depending on who they support and their own personal circumstances. Fair to say whatever comes out of the AGM they won't please everyone so damned if they do, damned if they don't.
Who'd be a promoter.
Presumably they will run PL or NL. I can understand it around the transport thing, that part of the M25 is a nightmare on a Friday, it's definitely easier on a Saturday or Sunday.
Congratulations Eagles, another season another trophy, could get used to this! Unlucky JPB, who didn't deserve to be on the losing team after such a great showing.
TBH we would rather Shanes rode, so if he doesn't it won't just be disappointing for your mob. Hopefully we've got it wrong and he'll emerge at the tapes.
Echo that. Most Eastbourne fans agree he's a really good rider. The fact he acts up and is a Kent rider generates the boos etc but it's in good spirit, very similar to the Nicki effect with other clubs.
It was particularly amusing during the k.o cup final with Cradley when he was waving to everyone after being heckled then promptly fell off his bike.
18 point win to Eastbourne? You been drinking? I think not. Seem to remember the Brummies keeping to single figures earlier in season. Think this will go down to the wire.
According to Eagles website Georgie is indeed back on Sunday, which is good news. Sounds like Charley Powell will be back too. I'm guessing Tommy B at number 8?
Slight over reaction by you. Crowd gave him tons of stick and he rightly gave it back. I'm no Tai fan but boy did it add to the atmosphere, exactly what our meetings need. Calling some fans idiots is hardly crime of the century.
A good evening's viewing.
Ellis went off fairly heavily in the first race, paramedics round him but walked back to pits after a few minutes. Completed his next 4 races fine so no panic for Poole fans.
As said above, can see this being decided by a 2-4 points nail biter. Fridays are indeed a pest to travel on, so leave plenty of time to get there. Have the joys of Cradley away on Tuesday and that will take me a fair while
