  1. Yes there's been a lot of rubbish on the track this year
  2. Do you know what number did win the 50/50? If I've won I'd like to get my money before the Receivers do
  3. Look up synonyms for disappointment you'll see Redcar Speedway Don't see it in the Worky side. Will still be close. Safe journey. PS no rain forecast but it's freezin' here
  4. Hope Rafa's elbow (or was it writer's cramp) has been examined and stands up to the test!
  5. The only thing weaker than the Redcar team at the moment are the management's excuses! Let's guess what's in JD's gazette report this week... At 3 ...we had a rider returning from injury; At 2 ...our reserve 'strength' was weakened; and At 1...the weather had made the track difficult.
  6. 17.7.1.2 A Rider may ride as a Guest (in an Official Meeting) at a Track only once in an 8-day period unless replacing the Home Teams #1 or is a NL Rider guesting for the Home Team.
  7. MPT was a Peterborough rider not a guest last week.
  8. The reserves are likely to be where it's won and lost. MPT has some good rides round the MPA.
  9. Just had a heavy shower in Stockton but Sun is out again now
  10. Breaking news...the wooden spoon won't be appearing at Redcar this year... It's had a far more lucrative offer to work in the canteen at Glasgow!!!
  11. Or the more concise Peterborough Telegraph version "...dumped on the deck by Redcar number one Lasse Bjerre"
  12. At least he'll have waited 'til the end - a lot walked well before that!
  13. The outside although watered and graded had nothing to give. Thought the Panthers used the slick inside well with some forceful but fair over (under) taking. Bears didn't (Lasse needs to practice that one a bit more - ask Richard Lawson!) Hope Skiddy is ok - at least he doesn't have to go to Newcastle now!
  14. I note in the local write up for tonight's match that Matej Kus is 1st reserve for the Czech GP on May 23rd...the same night the Bears are at Berwick who he rode and topped scored for last year...perfect timing yet again...
  15. My finances won't be suffering...I won't be going
  16. Could we form a coalition...we might gain enough points then not to finish bottom!
  17. If you'd put a full stop after the second finish rather than the ?s you may well be spot on!
  18. There was a young man from Australia whose problem was memory failure With his mate on a double, put his team in trouble For points times two, never let his partner through With supporters bemused and team mate confused Despite this small sin the chances of a win Were smaller than me winning the National!
  19. “Permission to panic now Mr. Mainwaring Duffill sir, permission to panic!?”
  20. The Bears are desperate for that spoon...how else will they eat their porridge?
  21. W.G. Grace..."Things never turn out in cricket as one expects." Ok on this occasion he'll be wrong!
