The Sportowefakty.pl site is now saying that the extraliga meetings are on the 21st of August not the 28th as the original fixture list. I am led to belive that Leigh Adams testimonial is to be at Leszno on the 28th, but this is heresay & I have no confirmation of this.

Thanks very much for the reply, do you think we will need tickets, or will it be ok to turn up on the day. I have no idea how many people are attracted by such a fixture, as the crowds in Poland vary so much.

I thought that may be the case, have not had much luck with camp sites in Poland. Although found a very nice one in Krakow earlier in the year. Will have to do the Novotel again me thinks. Many thanks for the reply.

Due to a change of heart me and wifey are thinking of going out to the two main WC meetings in Wroclaw. We usually stay at the Novotel in the south of the city, but we were thinking of staying on site, depending on what sort of facilities they have (ie the state of the showers & toilets!). Any info on the site would be most welcome, thanks Gary

Been in Prague since Thursday & true to form it is raining...again! Where is Legends bar? Would like to watch British final - assuming the GP isn't postponed to Sunday. You never know, Joe Screen could win again if Lee & Scot are still here! lol

This is so daft! Either Swindon & BSPA have made a typo.... OR they've deliberately clashed with Polish fixtures..... OR there's something going on which we don't know about! Maybe the fixtures in Poland have altered? I don't think there were any meetings due on the 21st, but the 28th was supposed to be a playoff date. I also heard some fans talking about Leigh's testamonial being the day after Bydgoscz. I can't imagine that Swindon would let the BSPA run the ELRC at Blunsdon without their own rider, who is THE track specialist!?!?! Do you think they mean Mon 29th, which is a Bank Hol? BTW, does anyone remember the announcement at last year's ELRC to keep your tickets as there would be some sort of "special deal"? Has anything come of this? Maybe the BSPA will give everyone free entry to this year's meeting, only to find that no-one is riding again No - didn't think so!

Hi, it could be either! Last year they accepted the printouts on the gates instead of tickets. However, the year before, there was a tent where you had to exchange your printouts for an envelope of actual tickets. I suspect the printout will be used as the ticket again, as its a lot of extra hassle for them to do the exchanges.

I am lead to believe that there are 2 CZ V Pol meetings on the weekend of the Prague GP. Does anyone know if they are going ahead & if so what time they start please?

We went to Lonigo For a league meeting about a month ago, Verona is about half an hour´s drive away.

Wifey, Auntie & Unkle, I think I can trust them. I hate flying so all the GP's are road trips, Poland twice a year takes its toll on the suspension on the car though. In most cases it works out cheeper than flying though.

4 of us going out in the car, leaving Cardiff at 11am tomorrow for a 5pm Dover Ferry, and an all night drive up through Germany for the ferry to Denmark. We are staying in a cabin in Koge (Friday & Saturday) & going to Slangerup for the league meeting on Sunday. Also have Monday ferry booked to hopefully get back for Eastie - Belle Vue Monday night.

We got ours, but it was a bit of a struggle. We got to the paying stage and the site crashed, which lead to a bit of panic. But we got there in the end. We used http://www.translation.langenberg.com/ to do the translating as we went along, it worked enough for us to buy tickets, though some of the translations were quite funny. ie instead of saying your basket is empty on the checkout page, it was saying your undercarridge is empty which amused my tiny mind. Me and Wifey going out in the car, we have decided this year to stand up un the back straight rather than pay 3 times as much to sit in the stand, Does anyone else feel that prague tickets have got expensive lately? The first year I went I paid less than £10 for a seat, now the seats in the same place are £45

Has anyone ever seen a speedway parade without any riders before? I have never seen a parade go so flat as Saturday's. The parade is usually the loudest part of the evening, where you get to see all the riders. All we saw was a big car. I'm not going to wave my flag at an oversized yank mobile. Did anyone else find this a bit strange & disapointing?

If you were sat where we were you would have seen Hancock ride Crump into the fence, the camera's were in the wrong place to see it. its the Ref thats a disgrace & should never be let near a speedway meeting again.

All the practice sessions are usually 3pm, but Cardiff has always been a closed practice, so no one gets in without a pass.

Iris I dont know about having a go at the welsh, but it has to be better than a stadium full of Danes that think Nikki Pedersen is a speedway rider
