  1. Sad news from Poland today that Speedway referee Wojciech Grodzki has died after a long illness- he was only 54
  2. His November facebook post **Disclaimer, I have taken the audio off the video, my page is and will remain a family friendly page** I had some good racing last night at the Gillman Solo Championship, it was great to work on the setup and try a few things to get myself comfortable and competitive. Unfortunately, my night was overshadowed by the abuse of myself and my family by the drunken Danny May. It really took my focus off the night itself and ruined the mood of my first meeting back. Sadly, this has become the norm for me racing in Australia over the past 5 years. The non stop bullying and ostracisation I have been on the end of since my junior speedway days on the 125cc. Quite frankly, it is upsetting that all of this has stemmed from multiple specific families who have constantly tried to bring me and my family down and ensure that my career in speedway never took off. I even thought that by going to the UK, landing my dream job and getting closer to my ultimate goal, that it would stop, that I might have earned some respect and professionalism out of these people. This was of course not the case, everything followed me. While I was racing in the UK, many of my sponsors new and continued alike were contacted by an OFFICIAL from Mildura Motorcycle club who proceeded to defame me, and attempt to dissuade them from sponsoring/supporting me. Not to mention, the continued attempts by Australian riders, and other people who have jumped on board the hate train to bring me down and ensure that anyone who is perceived to be helping me, ceases immediately. I am so glad for the people who have come forth and told me when and who said such things, and for the continued support. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for your ongoing support, and for seeing through the lies of those who are set on destroying any happiness or success that I find in speedway. I usually try to let my riding do the talking, however it has come to a point now where I am being affected on race night by people who hate me. I am there to ride my bike, do my job, and ultimately enjoy myself. I do not want to be, nor have my family sworn at or harassed just because I am there, it is disgraceful that these people think it is okay to do this. THIS IS NOT OKAY. Bullying is not okay on any level whatsoever, it is ridiculous that I have had to put up with this since I was 13 years old. My whole speedway life has been an uphill battle, any support I gain, is immediately taken from me. Don’t worry though, I will continue fighting, and I will be the best, nothing will stop me.
  3. From his facebook page Hi everyone, just an update on my situation as of right now. I have had my Australian speedway license suspended. The alleged reason is because I did not comply to a verbal interview with an investigator who was appointed to investigate the legality of my facebook post regarding Danny May's actions at Gillman Speedway on the 14th of November. Despite supplying all relevant information in response via email on the 11/12, I did not recieve a response until 7.32pm on the 23rd of December, after Motorcycling Australia had closed for the Christmas break, which encompasses my upcoming meetings. This was a notification that my license had been suspended through failure to comply to a verbal interview, despite supplying all relevant information that had been asked of me. I immediately responded to this email with a phone call to the supplied number, in order to comply with a verbal interview, and have my suspension lifted. After having said interview with the investigator in question, I assumed that my suspension would be lifted, as I had now complied with the conditions of the suspension. That I would be able to continue with my plans of racing in any Australian speedway events, in particular the Gillman Solo Spectacular on 28/12, the U/21 Australian Title on 29/01, and the FIM Oceania Solo Speedway Championship on 30/01. Despite contacting the MSA board of directors this morning, it would appear that the suspension will remain in place indefinitely. The disappointing fact of the matter is that despite complying in a pertinent and timely manner, my name has been struck from the Gillman Solo Spectacular meeting. As far as I am aware at this point in time, I will not be racing at the Gillman Solo Spectacular, or any meeting in Australia due to the unconscionable suspension that I have sustained. I am very sorry to all those who were coming to watch the meeting and catch up. Unfortunately my hands are tied. The effects of this suspension will be felt thoroughly, as I can now no longer race nor practice anywhere in Australia whilst it is in place. I am totally gutted after investing a significant amount of money and effort into transporting my motors, and riding equipment into Australia, to support Australian Speedway events, in particular Gillman Speedway, where I was invited to ride in all events. Devastated with this turn of events, my original post didn't breach any M.O.Ms or LAW, yet I am suspended. I stand by my post, and decision to shed light on the ongoing bullying I have faced. No action has been taken against Danny May, by neither Gillman Speedway nor Motorcycling South Australia to date.
  4. Doesn`t look as if the Shepherds have arrived yet- Harry, Timmy Joe, Adam and Dave- i suppose they could be late because they were with Terry "the " Shearer
  5. Indianerna`s squad for 2021 Drivers ready for 2021: Chris Holder (1,904 in entry average), Niels-Kristian Iversen (1,812), Max Fricke (1,687 in entry average), Adrian Gala (1,250, new from Lejonen), Jonas Jeppesen (1,250), Matias Nielsen (1,250, new from Dackarna), Joel Andersson (0.842), Gustav Grahn (0.5), Jonatan Grahn (0.5), Christoffer Selvin (0.5), Ludvig Selvin (0.5).
  6. Should imagine it will be same teams as were set to go in 2020 before the semi`s were cancelled. Germany, Poland, Denmark, France, Slovenia , Czech rep , Italy Latvia, Russia, Australia, Sweden, USA, Finland and Ukraine
  7. No chance of that happening unless the riders live in the UK- the riders who do Poland and Sweden use their Polish bikes, mechanics and vans for both(several ferry routes available) Whereas choosing UK means getting vans, mechanics etc etc.
  8. Polish article- Google translation Slag. eWinner 1. League on TV. Four transmissions in three days? Will there be collisions with other leagues? There is no final decision as to the number of TV broadcasts of the eWinner 1st league matches. One idea assumes that the queue will be spread over three days and that the television will show all the games. However, will this result in a term collision? From 2020, for five seasons in a row, the Canal + platform is the owner of the rights to show the eWinner 1. League games. The assumptions for the last season were that television will show two matches in line. Due to the pandemic and initial concerns that fans would not be able to enter the stadiums, broadcasts from all four eWinner League 1 matches were negotiated ahead of the 2020 season. Ultimately, due to pandemic restrictions, part of the Daugavpils transmission was not successful. In the season of 2021 in eWinner of the 1st League, the problem with trips to Latvia is eliminated, because Lokomotiv fell to the 2nd Speedway League. It is known that talks are being held with the television to show all matches from a given round, just like last year. If such a project is finally implemented, the matches will be spread over three days. Two on Saturdays, one on Sunday and one on Monday. For fans in front of TV sets, it is no problem to watch matches both on weekends and on Mondays, the more so that on a working day the games would start in the evening at 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. Details are still to be worked out.
  9. They had a crowd for this meeting in October- so don`t see any reason why they won`t in April
  10. Looks as if Monday night E winner league speedway is on the cards.

  13. Nothing announced as of yet- and probably won`t be until just before Sweden and Poland start. I would wait if i were you, unless they have other content you watch anyway.
  14. Don`t think it will come to that- if you go back a page there are some guesses as to what might happen.
  15. You obviously need to go back to 2019 season when Poland started using Friday`s and it was the 1st year of " timed qualification". I remember both Woffinden and Zmarzlik when interviewed saying that they didn`t have a choice to ride for their clubs and wished it had been made compulsory so that the full field could practice/qualify
  16. That is not certain as you well know- if the track is wet when the dirt line moves out 5,6 or 7 could quite easily get the best of track conditions.
  17. It doesn`t really matter - the track is not graded after every race during a match. The riders want a practice on the track. As i said before it`s made for TV - the riders like it and if a rider thinks that 2 gate 1`s in a meeting gives him an advantage for going fast in qualifying, then what`s wrong with that ? Don`t forget the track isn`t necessarily best the 1st race after a grade- i accept that it normally is but then the rider has to pick the best line without making a mistake. If the riders and TV like it, then it`s good enough for me !!
  18. Maybe Cardiff and Warsaw will remain on Friday( you can`t get to Togliatti in 2 minutes- so that might also have to be)
  19. Thinking about it, qualifying doesn`t have to be on Friday so might they consider same day qualifying to allow the clashing Polish Extraleague matches to take place. Same day practice happens at a lot of FIM and SEC meetings.
  20. Whatever you think is your opinion. If one listens to the riders- they want to do it and were upset when they were forced to be elsewhere, now it`s a level playing field with everyone there and don`t forget the order they go out is determined by the time set in " free practice" before the main TV programme starts. One could argue that it`s just done for TV, but is that such a bad thing ? The Extraleague have plenty of dates available as reserved fixtures to move these 2 Friday`s matches( or even the whole round if they want to)
  21. That is interesting- the FIM are telling the Extraleague who is boss !!! and not before time. The Extraleague will have to move their 2 Friday`s fixtures to another date.
