I can "steam ride" on my own !! i had a great time on the north Yorkshire moors steam railway the other week.

It looks as if any start "warnings" got today are carried over to tomorrow as well. I cannot find anything in the rules to confirm. I would have thought that as it`s 2 meetings over 2 days the fairest thing would have been to start afresh- not that team GB will be complaining !!!

Doesn`t immediately spring to mind- 1st bend ? I was thinking more about deliberately looking out for and bulking an opposition rider.

For all those bemoaning the fact of a lack of team riding so far in the competition, may i suggest there is a fine line between some aspects of team riding and foul riding. The referee for the 2 day final(un named in the FIM supp regs) may well tell the riders at the pre-meeting briefings that he(or she) will be looking out for riders deliberately baulking others and if so will result in an exclusion.

I have just been checking out the situation with Lodz speedway team. The new stadium has been much delayed which has left Lodz in a dodgy financial situation having raced their 7 Nice Polska league away matches with no income to pay the riders for these matches. I have seen on the club website the dates for their 7 home matches. July 29th v Gdansk July 30th v Daugavpils August 10th v Gniezno August 12th v Rybnik August 17th v Pila August 19th v Krakow August 26th v Lublin That is all depending on the stadium and track being ready !!!
