Interesting snippet in today’s Star that as feared there will be no Swedish elite league shown on TV in Sweden- there will only be internet coverage(presumably pay to view) however one of the weeks matches will be shown over here by Premier sports. It will be interesting to see what the difference between last years C More programme and this seasons production will be ?

They used to show div1(Nice) but lost the contract to Polsat/Eleven. they have had the odd test match/ individual - however they are also in competition with N sport and the other 2 previously mentioned for these.

I went to the shay 3 times- once was the weekend of a Bradford world final and they had a meeting I think the day after or the night before. The other times I watched the Racers there who couldn`t get round the place and always lost heavily- the last time I went I remember that I was a passenger in the car and we picked up Colin Ackroyd(plus bike)whose car had broken down on the M1
