  1. Zielona Gora v Torun Sunday 6th May all heats short version https://www.cda.pl/video/225860720?wersja=720p
  2. Vestervik v Indianerna Tuesday 8th May English commentary poor quality pictures
  3. Sorry but if he can’t control his nerves he shouldn’t be a speedway rider- lining up for his 1st race on Saturday night in front of 50000 cheering Poles will be the ultimate test(straight through the tapes i wouldn’t wonder)
  4. Smederna v Dackarna best match of the round with a last heat decider- video never missed a beat. so the final tally was 2 good 2 rubbish.
  5. Lejonen v Rospiggarna has been the best video so far- it didn`t skip a beat all match and the picture quality the best.
  6. Just watched Vetlanda v Maserna - there are 2 options 1 3 minutes highlights or the full match 2 hours plus. 1 camera coverage with commentary was ok however the picture kept freezing which spoilt it considerably. I also think the graphics leave a lot to be desired as no line up for any races were shown. The time line on the video also doesn`t show a still picture as many do so it`s really a pain trying to get to the next race and cut out the gaps( oh for a 15 heat speedway for all edit !!!!) just 2 to watch now !!
  7. Just watched the Vastervik v Indianerna match on video(my subscription) and echo everything about the cutting in and out( not acceptable) and the graphics only came to life half- way through. The commentator Stefan Klemetz(ex c more ?) was obviously in a studio and was getting the same stop start pictures. the quality of the HD picture was good however and i`m prepared to put it down to 1st night glitches. I will post further after i have watched the other 3 matches.
  8. Then i apologise and accept that in those circumstances there was nothing he could do- however my orginal post saying that most of the speedway riders i knew would take the earliest flight available and sleep in a hotel room for a few hours before driving to the meeting.
  9. Blimey !!! I thought no one would stumble across how i do the spreads !!!!
  10. So no riders have ever ridden Thursday nights in the UK before the Friday GP practice ?? Maybe we should try and organise a collection to see if we can raise £110 for his flight.
  11. Why go to Wroclaw when he needs to be in Warsaw !!!!!
  12. Reference Cook- lets cut the cr*p. There is a Wizz air flight from Doncaster/Sheffield for £110 at 8.05 am which gets to Warsaw at 11.30am- practice is at 3pm. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM !!!!
  13. Not surprised in the least you can`t accept criticism of the rider in this case. Riders are professional sportsmen and obliged to fulfill their commitments. It hasn`t taken me long at all to work out that the East midlands flight which was delayed(FR1665) is the return leg of the East Midlands flight to Riga(FR 1664) leaving at 07.20 arr 12.05- so in this day and age it`s very easy checking on flight departures- and in this case some 3 hours before his flight should have taken off. Therefore he should have known of the fact the plane was well late and should have switched to the Stansted flight(FR 2643) which left at 11.30 am- which was also a return 2nd leg of a Stansted to Riga (FR 2642) departing at 6.25am which he also could have easily checked whether the flight departed on time. Speedway riders of his caliber are earning fortunes so buying a ticket at the last moment would not be a problem. I am obviously assuming that the Stansted flight yesterday was not completely sold out.
  14. Of course. I will post a link(ustreamix) on the match thread. There might also be a stream for the memorial meeting at Leszno in the evening.
  15. To add my tuppence worth to the discussion - nearly all the Speedway riders I have known would try and get back as early as possible- sometimes getting a hotel room for a few hours sleep before driving on to the match. In my opinion he should have been on the 11.30am flight out of Riga to Stansted which due to the time difference between Latvia and the UK gets in at 12.15pm.
  16. Lets get one thing straight. Premier Sport(subscription channel) are showing the Swedish league live on Tuesday evenings at 6pm free sports( free sister channel) will be repeating that output during the following days at various times. they also might show the live match on the odd occasion just like they have done with the Sunday Polish league.
  17. Yes all rides in the 23 heats count and yes the £200 can be on one rider or several- but only up to £200 per GP.
