  1. I think we are out of luck for now. This is an Olympic qualifying match, so i guess it's important - not to me obviously I think we just have to be patient and first one post a link Alan.
  2. Thanks my friend. As we say in England, "You are a scholar and a gentleman" High praise! Enjoy and we can compare notes tomorrow. Best wishes from a very nice Indiana. ( The sort of day i should be out helping in the garden, but what the hell- it's Sunday, it's speedway, it's Polish!!
  3. Here are today's TVP listings. 15:10 Ice Hockey - World Championship Elite: Finland - Slovakia 17:40 Speedway - Liga: Polonia Bydgoszcz - Azoty Tauron Tarnow 20:00 Speedway - Liga: CKM Dospel Włókniarz Czestochowa - Steel Gorzów This works out to 4.40 pm uk time and 11.40 am for Pawel and Myself. Since the 2nd meeting is (i think) a recording are we all agreed NOT to post any updates? If it is live, then fine. It spoils it for me when i know the outcome . I'm sure someone will let us know. Join you all later. Best wishes. Alan.
  4. Thank you for posting this. It was a very enjoyable experience watching this week and the attendance was very good. Certainly more than most Monday night Elite League attendances!!! Look forward to Monday. Regards. Alan.
  5. Thank you for your report. Sounds like a good meeting. Shame about the asking price Regards. Alan.
  6. Anyway quite nice meeting so far and yes Alan the sun IS shining still. I'll miss that! but there was a lovely Danish one yesterday, even though it interfered with the last two heats Hope you are well. Alan.
  7. As your arse which is in two halfs peoples meaning are not the same. Id say that if you dont go or live in another country I would be very glad to pay 49 sek " It is usually the case that when you insult someone, your argument is weak. Let me just offer the following. I live in "speedway wasteland"- the USA. I have no access whatsoever to any television coverage. The sport does not really exist in this country. Bravo to Greg and the few who keep it going.I can and do buy a package for Football (Soccer ) and Rugby coverage. It costs me $15.00 per month. I get more than i could possibly watch. Premiership, Championship, Scottish Premiership, Italy, Spain. Premiership Rugby, Super 15 Rugby. All live and in high definition. Last week i paid for the Smederna meeting, because i have become a fan of the club and wanted to support them. I got a single camera stream, just the track announcer, sound cut off as the tapes went up, no replays, no graphics whatsoever, no commentary (even if i can't understand it ) no interviews. For this it worked out to $7.50 plus whatever fees the credit card company add on for "Foreign transaction). I haven't got the bill yet, but let us say $10.00. Yesterday i was able to watch a legal stream from Denmark which had all of the missing elements . Interviews etc. I can buy a legal GP stream for $5.00 with all the production. Thanks to the streamers i have just watched a Polish league match with Gollob, Lindgren etc. Thanks to the streamers i watched the Elite league on Monday and the Swedish meeting on Tuesday. Not "legal" i know, but the technology is like the genie, "It's out of the bottle" Now for a "Filler" pairs meeting ,with all due respect, you want me to shell out for another single camera stream. And i, as the customer, say "No thanks" I know there was opposition to the initial decision to stream Allsvenskan. But the attendance figures for last season showed a sharp increase all round. Having a 17 year old "techie" son, i subscribe to their thinking that the world has REALLY changed with the internet. You can use it- as an advertising medium. Say to sponsers- we can deliver X number of viewers online, and hopefully they will see value in it. What about approaching the Eskilstuna Tourist Board to advertise on-line with you? Or you can do as you are and demand payment. Sadly this most wonderful of sports is a minority interest for most people. Television is a poor substitute for being there.( until we get "smellovision" ) If it were at all possible, i would be there every week, supporting "my" team. I have no idea what the situation is with Allsvenskan streaming this season. Is this just Smederna or will the fixtures tomorrow require payment? I honestly don't think there will be many if that is the case. We all love the sport and i hope you can respect a diverging opinion. Regards. Alan.
  8. 2 quick 5-1s and we have a .close-run thing. Still fancy Gorzow but at least it's not now a wipe-out Gollob- the master We will not see his like again. A joy to watch. Bad luck for young Jepsen Jensen in heat11 and a good try by Zagar. All tied up now with 4 heats to go. Good stuff. Ah Woffy. The impetuousness of youth. Could cost Wroclaw the match. Strange with NKI and Lindgren. 9 times out of 10 you would fancy Freddie, but in Poland NKI rides like a world beater and Freddie too often disappoints. Jepsen Jensen does not say "xxck" in a Polish interview. A first! Well rode Ulamek in heat 15. Now to catch that Easy Jet flight to Elmdon.
  9. Spot on. And i think our friend "Brummie Kev" is in for a disappointment tonight when he cheers on Ulamek. Coz he's here! Lost the sound on sopcast but the picture is fine. Since i can't understand a word, i'll take the picture Alan. Heat 2 will please a young Peterboro fan! This might be an embarrassing away win by some margin.
  10. Good morning/ afternoon everyone. Feast this week, so looking forward to a local derby.
  11. That will be interesting. A Pole who opts for his UK team with a fixture clash. I'm sure Wroclaw will say "No problem old chap- go right ahead" . Since this is a Polish national holiday local derby, i presume?? it was always scheduled for this date. So Harris and Richardson it is then Seriously, we will find out shortly. Regards. Alan.
  12. Teams as listed. Sparta Betard Wroclaw 0 No. Player 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Sum 9 Tai Woffinden 0 10 Sebastian Ułamek 0 11 Tomasz Jędrzejak 0 12 Fredrik Lindgren 0 13 Nicolai Klindt 0 14 Patryk Dolny 0 15 Patryk Kociemba 0 Stal Gorzów 0 Nr Zawodnik 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Suma 1 Krzysztof Kasprzak 0 2 Michael Jepsen Jensen 0 3 Matej Zagar 0 4 Niels Kristian Iversen 0 5 Tomasz Gollob 0 6 Adrian Cyfer 0 7 Bartosz Zmarzlik http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/wydarzenie/5221 Obviously a change at 13! We shall see shortly. Regards. Alan. Chris Harris. Lee Richardson.?
  13. Take care all. Polish match on tomorrow. Join you then. Regards. Alan.
  14. Guarantee that's the first time for all of us. Couldn't figure it out until the slowmo replay. Funny old game life! Could someone please do something about that sunset
  15. Thank you. Not a fan of the joker as i have expressed many times. The old-fashioned tac-sub when 6 down is perfectly fine. A mixture of the two here. Still think this is a very enjoyable meeting. Top marks and the picture is superb.
  16. How many jokers can be used./ Any limit? How many points behind? His brother looked better! But yes, there were a few good riders he was up against.
  17. Not a genius observation i admit, but i think Pawlicki has "that something" to go right to the top. Oh no the dreaded joker
  18. Very enjoyable so far. Nice atmosphere. I presume the track is in the countryside. Very reminiscent of the Swedish tracks being in a bowl.
  19. Came back fine just before heat 3. Lovely evening and a decent crowd. Next best thing to being there- and i'm a long way away.
  20. My sound is on the fritz- sounds like elephant farting but the picture is fine. Anyone else?
  21. Great- it's on!!! What we fans go through! Really looking forward to this.
