  1. A guy interviewed in English Well done "Terry" from Folkestone, though he sounded more like a Brummie to me.
  2. As always my friend, thank you for all your insights. This is fun watching the build-up, even though I don't understand a word except for "Magnus Zetterstrom"
  3. Well one thing for sure, this is not going to be washed out as it is a lovely day there.
  4. Ghostwalker refers to live interviews before the meeting. I presume this is it here. http://www.sn.se/sport/1.2608255 But of course what we really want is some kind soul to stream the meeting for us. Alan.
  5. "Don`t want to put a damper on proceedings, however Kanal on their listings at present are not showing it as being on-I do hope they have it and not DK4 for instance" Well you just have That will be a total bummer if they don't have it. The murky world of TV rights. We can but hope . All the best from a sunny USA. Alan.
  6. The biggest advantage in speedway is home track. The Elite League rewarded the top 2 teams, i think, by giving them a points advantage in the semi-final rounds and then dropped it. I just think it should be all square to start with and decided on the track on the night. I have no problem whatsoever with a four team final. That in itself is unique. I just think you can sometimes tweek things a bit too much. But this is their way and it will cap a very enjoyable season of racing with terrific coverage from Kanal. .We'll all be watching and enjoying. All the best. Alan.
  7. http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/IndividualDrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=4000 I believe Ghostwalker said this is being televised. Therefore there is a chance of a stream. All hands to the pump!! Regards. Alan.
  8. Totally agree. Just seems a bit daft to me. But what do I know ?
  9. Ghostwalker- thanks for the link. Very enjoyable. Reminded me of those Thursday afternons of years gone by, though with a much more reliable stream now. Thank you for the sunsets too. All the best. Alan.
  10. Always puts a damper on things when someone gets hurt. Vaculik is a really nice guy, but he was abit of a clown there. It wasn't as though hwas right behind Madsen. Wish him a speedy recovery but perhaps his season is done as collarbones take a bit of healing. Full attention now on Sweden and this is boiling up nicely for a tight finish.
  11. Not good Even though he should have had his license endorsed with 3 penalty points for "driving without due care and attention"
  12. Middle of the afternoon here on a hot day, so it might fire up a golden sunset- but ours aren't nearly as good as yours. In the Swedish meeting at least the air fence came off worst and the rider seems okay. What a bugger for Slangerup. On a 5-1, then Madsen's bike goes and the rider behind can't help but plough into him. Sport can be cruel sometimes.
  13. Old age. And multi-tasking. By the way, I love this track- big blaster! The training track inside is bigger than a few UK tracks.
  14. Slangerup have done well to hold it so close after 9 heats but the loss (I presume) of Michelsen will catch up with them I feel. Swedish match close too after 7. Gnistorna 22 Ornarna 20
  15. I was going to say that Vaculik would go through the card unbeaten and then the mighty Leon does the business. Ugh. That was a nasty one in heat 8. Fingers crossed and again thank god for air fences.
  16. The church bells will be silent in Denmark today since all the "ringers" are at the speedway. Courtesy of our good friend Ghostwalker, we can also watch an Allsvenskan live stream here. http://www.malmotv.se/live-sections/live/index.1.html Problem is they overlap, so "multitasking" skills are required. Regards. Alan. Presenter "Anders Brandstrup" has eaten all the pies. Both streams are working well and the sun is shining all over Europe- well at least in Scandanavia.
  17. Thank you for this. Is it 5.30pm UK time.? If so we can switch back and forth between Denmark and Sweden.!! I won't favour either All the best. Alan.
  18. The usual "Google Translate" head scratchers but reports on all of today's meetings. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=da&u=http://www.speedway-league.com/&ei=7mf8S7ntEcL68Aaxw_TyBQ&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCAQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Ddanish%2Bspeedway%2Bleague%26hl%3Den Regards. Alan. Thursday 4th September 5..30pm uk time Holsted v Fjelsted
  19. Fingers crossed. Another one here tomorrow too. Join you folks then. Thanks for the company. Back to the US Open. with Makarova one set up. Take care. Alan.
  20. A classic duel. Great stuff. You TOTALLY converted me on that one. I started off thinking it was 2 easy pay days, but have come to appreciate you were dead right on "throwing them in at the deep end". Well done.
  21. The brainpower on this International section. Thanks Ghostwalker. pandorum, on 03 Sept 2014 - 12:41 PM, said: Total "baptism of fire" for the young lad. Hope he doesn't get too down on himself. He has the example of Ivan Mauger to fall back on. Ivan's first year at Plough Lane was a tough one! But he eventually overcame.
