  1. Yes. Her dad was a footballer and signed for a Danish club- and stayed on Her mum also I think played volleyball for Poland so she has the sporting pedigree. Though not a wedding ring from Rory MacIlroy.
  2. Thanks. So Karol in Polish translates to "Charles" in English? I live and learn.
  3. Thanks my friend. You can never tell by the name anymore what country they come from. Caroline Wozniacki- the Danish tennis star.
  4. Not griping at all because I love this coverage, but they seem to have an automatic set-up on the replay where you get half the first lap and then the final bend of lap 4. In between we miss. I'll see on the next one. The silky smooth skills of Michael with assistance from Wozniak will ensue a comfortable home win. "Morrissey Fan"
  5. Sunshine. Hi all. As always, a superb stream and looking forward to this lunchtime (for me ) meeting.
  6. Note the very good attendance at Rospiggarna- just shy of 5000. Deserved victors over the 2 legs..
  7. Thank you my friend. Heart over- ruling head. " Go Smederna" Alan.
  8. A few minutes before tapes up and no success to share on finding a stream of either meeting. For the present- Updates it is. Regards. Alan.
  9. Got a pesky bug when I minimise the stream, so will just stay on full screen and spare anyone my postings. Enjoy the last 5 heats and thanks again for the stream. Best. Alan.
  10. Thank you R and r for the Wizard link Unusually, a bit wild from Pepe there. Could have ended in carnage. Thank goodness it didn't.
  11. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/wydarzenie/29943 Guess it will all unfold. Wet Sunday here too, so I can now watch Arsenal without swiveling my seat around. All the best. Alan.
  12. Still-at 1pm UK. listing Greg as riding. I know speedway riders are bonkers at riding through the pain barrier but i'll be surprised if he rides after that horror crash. . We'll see. Join you later. Alan http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/wydarzenie/29943
  13. No replacements announced yet on Sportowefakty http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/wydarzenie/29943 But doubtless bags of zlotys are being dangled. "Weren't the Russian teams criticised for containing riders who didn't ride for them back in these days?" Yes. The Pooleski Pirateskis" who tracked Emil Sajfutdinov, Leon Madsen and Piotor Pawlicki. Wouldn't happen nowadays since we are now a well regulated sport. All the best. Alan.
  14. Major changes obviously after todays GP occurrences. we'll tune in tomorrow and see who we have. 4.30 pm UK time. First race 5pm. http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport http://www.meczyki.pl/ http://pl-sport.tv/stream-4.htm Or Sopcast . Channel-96707. ( We hope!) Gone walkabouts recently. Regards. Alan.

  16. There you go. The classic speedway result with the home team winning with a 5-1 in the last heat. Enjoyed that. Sunday at 4.30pm UK time, first race at 5pm this "European Chumps" meeting. Meaningless title but we should get some good racing with the line-ups. All the best. Alan.
  17. Why I love team speedway. A routine meeting now bubbling up to a tight finish with honours even and two heats to go. Good stuff.
  18. Not the most exciting meeting, but you can't have thrills and spills every time. Imagine now that Coventry have dumped Michael Jepsen Jensen ( a mistake in my opinion) they will expect Kenneth Hansen to step it up. And that may be expecting a lot!
  19. Hi all, As always, fingers crossed that Denmark is enjoying the same weather as here in the US- see US Open tennis coverage. Thank goodness these guys don't have the Danish rights to the tennis or we would suffer the same fate as the Swedish coverage. Well that looks good. Super day there.
  20. "And he has signed my standard 10% agents contract". Regards. Alan It beggars belief that anyone would use the Elite (so-called ) League as a model for anything but the road to oblivion. Double point jokers anyone? Overall Swedish speedway is in reasonably good shape. Leave well alone!! Regards. Alan.
  21. Sadly, it has been that way for some considerable time. One day the promoters will be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century, but i'll have probably popped my clogs by then. All the best. Alan.
  22. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy it as a Sunday meeting with some good names riding. I won't bother to keep a scorecard because it's meaningless who actually "wins" As long as you have riders plying their trade in different leagues any talk of a "European Champions League" is moot. I've seen all sorts of challenge 4 team tournaments over the years with all sorts of odd ball combinations put together just to get a meeting on and entertain the crowd. The only ironic thing with this one will be if someone starts claiming afterwards that they are European Champions., which I very much doubt. I hope they get a good crowd- I think they will and I hope we get some entertaining speedway. Just out of interest, did Emil ever ride AT Poole when he rode for the Bees (his only UK club)? Regards. Alan.
