  1. Dont blame him! Cant believe they had the cheek to think he would say yes! To be honest we should have walked the qualifier - given that we are at full strength. In theory IF the Danes are still weakened without Pedersen and the Swedes dont have Jonsson back we should be in a position of getting ourselves a medal. We havent had a good final in a while now - now is the time to prove that we can still mix it when we are at full strength. If the fighting spirit is as good as it was last night, then in theory we stand as good a chance as anyone. However saying that - think the Poles will blow everyone else away.
  2. Its a black countty/Brum divide thing they heard i spoke to you once , talk about being badly tainted Except it was half hour before you - Your slipping boy. ;-) Are you joking? Result over entertainment?? No wonder people are moaning about speedway A great meeting that built and built. The close scoreline helped but some of the racing was top drawer stuff. Proud to be a Brit . Tho im TEAM Sweden thurs lol Freddie was awesome tonight as well.
  3. disagree Tellboy. When ive been to World championships - and notably the GP challenge at Coventry last year there were a whole array of travelling Poles from there respective clubs. Some i tried to speak to but spoke not a word of English. The hard core travelling Poles live in Poland. Im sure Cardiff attracts its `english` Poles, much in the same way that some people only go to Cardiff and nowhere else as an event.
  4. great point. Id like to have seen the Poles, danes and Brits introduce a price that suited ALL of the countries - not just the hosting nation. As is usual tho - each country does its own thing, with little regard to other nations. Im sure Kings Lynn will be packed to the rafters - but will it be sold out like in Poland???
  5. the point being, Poland speedway scene is buzzing, they give the fans what they want at a VERY reasonable price. Indeed if you put the wages into proportion then that is a fair point. However not the best way to entice the Polish fans to flock here and pay our prices. Yet they do, which just goes to show they CAN afford it. And MUCH cheaper to watch in HD, thanks for the advice. If i was organised id have gone to Poland the weekend in preference. But sometimes work doesnt allow one to get to every match
  6. Like the thinking! However id still prefer it to be week long
  7. Exactly, There are make weights in the Football world cup, why should we make it different! Russia are already a higher seed than Team GB, unfortunately thats just how low we have fallen. As for the part about the track? id say about 19.01
  8. Hope your on the wind up ere!!!!! Very Shov like arrogance!!! Yea, im sure the rest of the world were fearing the Finns Could be the first country to score 0 even at full strength. Agree, was really looking forward to seeing how well he has progressed. good to se how the Poles keepin it real by charging ridiculously low prices yet we make sure we milk the supporters of there money. Hence my thoughts of attending have now subsided. Ill take full advantage of my SKY HD subscription tonight
  9. How bout just the top 4 qualify and just have a final? It was only a few seasons ago we were saying the Russians were make weight, there not anymore. There a country very much on the up. It gives us all chance to see riders we dont ordinarily see and how else are they gonna get onto the World stage? The trouble with the Czech`s is they have been a spent force for 10 years or more. The Drymls may of 1 time been of a decent standard but now there riding on low averages from a mostly reserve position. Its time they started bringing through some of the youngsters - they would have still struggled anyway. It has some merit i reckon. Gives even 2nd place some security for the following season.
  10. agreed on track prep, very little option. Just who is in charge of track prep for SWC??? Some decent races and sweet moves - mostly by the Poles tho , as i expected the Ruskies were great entertainment. Good to see Niolai not disgraced again on the World stage. Surely he deserves to stay in on Thursday in preference to Iversen if Pedersen comes back.
  11. A pretty decent GP, mainly because the track held out well. Gutted for Gollob, he looks likes a world champion elect imho. Holder deserved his win but what a silly pram moment with Crump. Talking of idiots, well pedersen has shown that he is still the bad assed attitude rider he always was. Good win by tai whilst the dirty Danes went at each other. Idiots. If they had raced the race they might have got more points. The Brits , as expected, were leight weights. Good to see fast Freddie getting to grips with the GP at last.
  12. If i was your fellow countrymen id have you ostrasized for such a terrible thing to try to do Checkpoints are the very least you can do lol Completely agree regards Cardiff. Got friends that go every year and there opinion is - its a great day, who cares if the racing aint all that good??? If im paying to watch speedway id like to see good racing - from a true speedway fan
  13. guess its up to us to shown CMV06 how to have a proper conversation Maybe this type of poster might learn that if your gonna hurl out bile at people he might just get it back!!! OR im guessing not!!!! As for Cardiff - always fancied going just for the experience. However for me if the racing isnt on a good track then its likely to be second rate. From what ive seen on the box of it yearly it usually is! With the odd exception of 2 years ago. Poor Scotland, if you would invite CM up - Scotland definetly doesnt deserve
  14. Too late to get defensive when you slander others for having a different opinion to yours. If you dont like others having a different opinion to yours and telling them (via the keyboard obviously) and then get wound up when others have a go back then you have the answer dont you??? I take it your intelligent enough to work that out. As for meeting up at Cardiff to `discuss` . IF i was going id be going to enjoy myself not to feed your ego so get over that notion. I dont go to Cardiff straight and simple because im not a fan of the man made tracks. Now if you would lke a sensible discussion about something why not initiate something we could discuss, instead of slating others for thinking different to you. He can tell him at Cardiff
  15. Why do you have to assume your opinion is the only correct one???? Mikael Max/Karlsson is my favourite rider - if you must know Now come on, weve ALL moved on from that one - even me well called.
  16. Gollob every single day of the week. The most gifted rider ive ever had the pleasure to witness. If thats your best, ill not break out a sweat to be insulted. Well said. Think this poster is just a disgrace to most speedway supporters. What a total hypocrite. You slate others for having different opinions. Try and at least being real and consistent.
  17. Some thinks Gollob was in the wrong, some thing he was in the right. Your an insult to anyone who thinks different
  18. Unusually, im in agreement. AJ looked like he put his foot over gollobs wheel as he knew he would get a rerun as there was no way he would have stayed on. They were already into the corner - no need for AJ to put his foot down. Gollob was under him and AJ tried to get a re-run the way i saw it. Terrible accident for Emil - hope he is back soon. Can only agree. Massive pride in seeing him win heat 1 in style.
  19. amen to that Richardson not a cat in heels chance of a 2nd chance thankfully.
  20. the point im making is that lee misses a lot of big meetings with `illness` related problems. Thats all. Seeing as you asked twice . let me try and answer the question. Tai fits in perfectly with BSI plans for young and exciting seeded riders. Had a decent debut season in the elite UK and done well in top flight in Poland and Sweden. and is young. Think that clears that up then.
