Gnistorna - Västervik isn't cancelled after all, it's expected to start at 20.00 but no tv/stream though.

My vote goes to Emil Sajfutdinov. At the age of 20 he had already won 3 Grand Prixs and finished 3rd in the total standings in 2009. He also won his first grand prix in 2009. So Darcy who?

Griparna-Valsarna is officially postponed due to weather which means that Valsarna now have two postponed meetings that needs new dates. The other two meetings tonight are still go for launch but I think that Vargarna-Masarna is also likely to be postponed. Track was ok but a little soft this morning. However it has rained quite much since and more rain is expected. There is supposed to be live streaming tomorrow from the meeting between Gnistorna and Västervik however the weather have been really bad today and it expected to be bad for an extended period of time. So it is unlikely that tomorrow's meetings will be able to go ahead. Two previously postponed meetings that were supposed to have been run tonight was postponed again.

Skidder1, since you asked Fredrik Engman, a young Swedish talent, were originally ment to be left outside the line-up but luckily for him Jonas Davidsson's form is pretty non-existent so Engman will probably take Davidsson's place for a while.

I think it's the shale that, like you say, seems to be quite heavy/sandy. It's rare but sometimes there have been some decent racing on this track but Vetlanda want to have it like this.

I'd say that a single national federation can't do much on their own. R/R needs to be overhauled but it needs to be done by FIM. I don't know what illness he claims to have be hypothetically it could be something as simple as dehydration. It has been very hot of continental Europe so it is possible that he haven't taken care of himself.

Smederna's Przedpelski might be back as early as next Tuesday according to Smederna's team manager in an article in today's local news paper. According to the same article Kenni Larsen will be absent for at least another two weeks.
