  1. It's a small track, even a crowd of 4500-5000 will make it look crowded. No way near Smedernas smashing 8848 from the final vs. Kaparna 10 years ago. Smedernas also had some 6200 this year in the semifinal vs Piraterna.
  2. anyomne got a stream? I decided to buy the official steam but just as last year it bugs out and just gives me an error code.
  3. 20'000 tickets sold already: http://www.dn.se/sport/friends-fylls-med-engelsk-sand/
  4. Meh I don't really care tbh, good venue but totally in the middle of nowhere and extremely boring surroundings if you want to do something else then the GP. Personally there would have been enough with just the Stockholm GP. Grand Prix should should be held in cities not in remote villages in the middle of the forest.
  5. It varies from club to club, mostly depending on who owns the track, the club or the city. I think most clubs that don't own their tracks pays rent to the owner (usually the City/Municipality). Dackarna own their own track and they are the only club that I can remember that have it that way. The only private owned track that I know of is Tallhult in Hagfors which was bought by a private person to save the speedway in Hagfors by making sure that Valsarna have a track. Obviously you just have to look back at the past 10 years to see that many teams have had difficulties and many teams have went bust but have arisen like a Phoenix bird from the ashes of the previous clubs. Allot of this stuff was in my article for Somerset Speedway that I wrote earlier this summer.
  6. I think what you see on Premier sports are not what we see in the Swedish feed. The Swedish feed is more thorough with more cameras, pit interviews, pit cameras and etc., 2 commentators, 2 people in the track side studio and one interviewer in the pits.
  7. Judging by the arena website there will be buses from Solna Station. Not sure what type of buses though. Other public transport option are as following: From Stockholm Central Station: 17.09, Go with commuter train #38 towards Uppsala C, get off at Ulriksdal station, board bus #502 towards Solna Centrum get off at the Arena. From T-centralen 17.20, 17.50, 18.20, Go with subway blue line #11 towards Akalla, get off at Solna Centrum, board bus #505 towards Järvstaden get off at the arena. 17.30 Go with subway blue line #11 towards Akalla, get off at Solna Centrum, board bus #502 towards Ulriksdas station, get off at the arena. You can search connections here: http://reseplanerare...442502&OK#focus Just remember that buses do not accept cash or credit card, only pre-paid tickets or pre-paid travel cards. I think that you might be able to buy tickets at the subway entrances, the tickets you buy there will include the bus. Both the central station and all the stations mentioned above is Zone A. Also a quick reminder about the open meeting at Gubbängen on Friday: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=67537&st=525#entry2336263
  8. Antonio Lindbäck will stay with Indianerna and Peter Ljung will stay with Västervik.

SMHI says overcast but no rain for Vetlanda on Tuesday http://www.smhi.se/vadret/vadret-i-sverige/land/fiveDaysForecast.do?geonameid=2663293&redirect=false then partially cloudy and no rain for Motala on Wednesday. http://www.smhi.se/vadret/vadret-i-sverige/land/fiveDaysForecast.do?geonameid=2690960&redirect=false
  11. Protasiewicz and Iversen will stay with Indianerna : http://indianerna.nu/nyhet.php?id=2949
  12. I'd say any of the Polish venues. It was Bydgoszcz this year and Leszno for 2010-2012
  13. I don't know what the current rules are but you could keep the guest riders but add some limitations to the riders that is brought in as a guest rider, Limitations like this; He has to be a British rider His average cannot be higher then the missing riders average He cannot ride permanently (season wise) for another team in the same league
  14. There haven't been any info regarding exact number of tickets sold just that it is expected to be the second highest attendance of the series. Info Is coming from Morgan Andersson, former team manager for Västervik, Dackarna and Smederna now a expert commentator for C more. The info is not official in any way though. Sure Stockholm is expensive but "cheaper" then Oslo, Köpenhamn and Helsinki. Also dirt will arrive on Monday according to Björn Oldéen at C more.
  15. Holsted have got a new track flood light system: http://www2.solar.dk/Video/moldow_speedway_arena_i_holsted_har_faaet_et_siteco_lysanlaeg/
  16. I don't know, he had a crash a couple of days ago and it is speculated about that he didn't want to risk anything for next weeks Swedish championship finals. With Rospiggarna's advantage from last week THJ's to be or not to be riding wouldn't have made much difference anyway.
  17. Rospiggarna won the Allsvenskan final against Örnarna and will take the step up to Elitserien. http://norrteljetidning.se/sport/1.2208778-elitserien-nasta- Valsarna in Division 1 have applied for promotion to Allsvenskan which hopefully would make it 7 teams in Allsvenskan next year.
  18. new rules for 2014: http://www.svemo.se/ImageVaultFiles/id_7884/cf_44/Beslutsprotokoll_Rundbana_nr09_inf-r_s-songen_2014.PDF Elitserien: 8 teams in Elitserien with the same race schedule as this year new average cap 10.250 avergae floor is 8.500 25% average discount for Swedish riders born 1989 and later. Swedish u21 riders get 0,500 as a season entry average. Elitserien guestriders have to be Allsvenskan riders that have a season entry average at 1.250 or lower minimum 3 heats each for the reserves reserves are not allowed to be replaced when they do T/T All teams have to have a Elite-B team. I'll add more later.
