It should be over, I cant see how Masarna or Griparna could make a comeback from this. The meeting itself wasn't that great, a couple of tight heats bu not that much drama. First bend of heat 14 was pretty sweet though, Zorro made the best start with Antonio almost side by side. Zorro took Antonio a bit wide to allow PK to head down the inside of the both = 5-1 Smederna. Antonio then looked to get his revenge in heat 15 where Zorro+PK outgated him. However Antonio blasted past them on the outside and had a comfortable lead until the last bend. He suddenly lost speed wand pulled up. A few moments later when his mechanics arrived Antonio was really really upset with them and start pointing towards the bike. It turned out that his mechanics had forgot to top up the fuel tank so Antonio had run out of fuel like 15-20m from the finish line.

Smederna have started well. 18-6 after 4 heats. Good fight in heat 2 Between Berntzon and Anton as well as in heat 4 between Lindbäck and PK where PK showed that he still got it By passing Antonio on the third lap.

So if Hampel is back, that means that Vaculik then will still be in as a replacement for Bjerre?

If I were Team manager for Indianerna, I would put in Kylmäkorpi in heat 14 as a replacement for Pepe.

I think its quite unfair that the team behind can use their best riders twice. While Indianerna cannot use Lindbäck and Iversen twice.

What can you say about Edberg? Big shame on Fröjd for forcing him to ride tonight. Alex still needs a couple of months of Rehab. Just look at Hampel who have been out for over two months. But what a great heat by Thörnblom.

I am not sure what will happen if Alex is considered not fit to ride. I would guess that the Hammarby's revised lineup will be rejected meaning no Alex in for Kamil and no R/R for Dennis. But i am far from sure.

Hammarby is his 5th team as team manager and his past teams gave the following history Dackarna- still running good Masarna - Bankkrupt Kaparna - Bankrupt Lejonen - demoted ro Div1 for severe financial problems. it "could" just be a coincident though... i also just updated the race card for Hammarby - Indianerna as well as added the link to the race card for the other quarter final. You also have a blank race card if you want to fill it in yourselves. Have in mind that its not certain the referee will approve Hammarby's lineup so there might still be changes. Have in mind that Alex broke his leg 5 weeks ago and normally it takes 6 weeks for a broken bone to heal, so the track medical staff+referee have the right to refuse Alex to participate in the meeting.

Don't forget Iversen who is having a very good season. Third best scorer in Polish Ekstraliga and first in the Swedish Elitserien.

Forgot to mentioned that Pavlic is also injured and Västervik will replace him with Nicolai Klindt.

well tomorrow by lunchtime would be a little late wouldn't it? Well the latest news is that they will replace Brzowozski with injured Alex Edberg. Since Alex have a lower floating average then Dennis, Dennis is no longer the mandatory U21 rider and they can then use R/R for him. The same Alex Edberg who broke his leg 5 weeks ago and needs another 3-4 months of rehabilitation. Hammarby's team manager says "its five weeks since he (Alex) broke his ligament so it should be fine. Well since Smederna have lost almost half of their attendance since last season... I think that we would have problem getting a good team and would the spectators come in the necessary numbers? Obviously it depends on if/what new rules are created for either or both of the series.
