  1. just a heads up for those who are going to Målilla this week. As mentioned before there have been allot of rain in the area. With flooding and flushed away roads as a result This means that currently the road (road 40) between Eksjö-Mariannelund-Vimmerby have very limited accessibility (flooding). and the road between Mariannelund and Hultsfred (road 129) are closed until further notice. see this map for current info.
  2. Viktor Palovaara leaves Valsarna for Dackarna. Valsarna will replace him with Daniel Gunnestad. Gunnestad rides on a Swedish license since May this year. It seems though that Valsarna will be able to continue the season. The other riders have managed to come to agreements with Valsarna and they say that they will be able to full fill the season. http://nwt.se/sport/article1135587.ece
  3. Unfortunately the area around målills have been Hit by heavy rains. The following link shows the Situation in Mariannelund 36km north of Målilla. http://www.svt.se/nyheter/sverige/mariannelund-oversvammat-av-skyfall More info: http://m.sverigesradio.se/artikel/5184183?programId=86
  4. really great to see the young Danes showing the old boys how to ride speedway.
  5. sorry misread your question, Nicholls first came to Sweden in the late 90's and his first team in Sweden was Smederna were he rode until he left for Hammarby at the end of 2006 when he left for Hammarby. Then he rode for Hammarby, Vargarna, Valsarna, Dackarna and now back to Vargarna.
  6. Where he replaces Scott Nicholls who goes in the opposite direction (to Vargarna).
  7. It was a very close and tense meeting all the way to the chequered flag in heat 15. Curly rode very well, good to see that his form is on the rise. another special mention should goto Rasmus Broberg. 3+2 from him yesterday despite being sidelined for most of the season. His move in heat 2 was "sensational" although he didn't manage to get any point from it, it was still a nice performance. Rasmus started from gate 2, with Agö on he outside and Nilsson on the inside. The two Örnarna riders took the start and moved into a team riding position. However Rasmus found a non-existing gap between them and just dived into it. Unfortunately Rasmus just didn't have quite enough speed and the Örnarna boys could pull away from him. Fortunately Henrik Karlsson rode well and managed to pass both Nilsson and Agö and secure 3p. Heat 8 was a total mess as well. First start attempt: a very nasty looking crash (typical first bend crash) bikes and riders all over the place. Luckily all riders managed to escape without injuries and they all could ride in the restart. Second attempt: Swisch Agö does T/T. Third attempt: In comes Nilsson and reprises Agö's move and does a T/T as well. Fourth attempt: all three riders successfully manages to gate, Misiek shows that he have not forgotten how to ride around Smedstadion (he used to ride for Smederna until Smederna went broke). Henderson and Broberg gets the freebie points. Heat 14, Smederna's own Batman and Robin does again, bringing home another 5-1 victory for Smederna. Heat 15, Batman and Robin gates but Batman was passed by Alexandr Lokatajew at the end of the first or second lap, securing a 46-44 victory for Smederna and 3 team points. I wasn't particular happy with the track though, too slick for my taste resulting in mostly processional racing. So more grip on the outside please.

  10. SWC break next week, two weeks from now Canal+ goes to Norrköping and Vargarna.
  11. track length is 375m. who is going to stop the Danes in the SWC? Superb ride from Iversen.
  12. poor refereeing, way to itchy finger, especially on this track which is a very long track.
  13. regarding walk overs, one walk over means some £25'000 in fines, two walk over means degradation.
  14. I know but is this a moved meeting? as it is not listed on Kenni's schedule on his website.

  16. ¨NO PK, Kenni or Wozniack on Thursday. Seems like Kenni and Woznaiak or occupied almost every Thursday despite Kenni's schedule says that he's available. Not sure about Szymon? He seems to have the same Polish youth league races as the Pulcynski brothers. So if i could dream for a while i wouldn't mind replacing Szymon with David Ruud. I realize that it probably would be to expensive but imagine what lineups we could have; Magnus Zetterström 2,229 Kenni Larsen 1,914 Ruud 2,172 Oliver Berntzon 1,16 Peter Karlsson 2,176 Daniel Henderson 0,918 Rasmus Broberg 0,5 11,069 or Magnus Zetterström 2,229 Ricky Kling 1,595 Ruud 2,172 Oliver Berntzon 1,16 Peter Karlsson 2,176 Daniel Henderson 0,918 Henrik Karlsson 0,914 11,164 or Magnus Zetterström 2,229 Linus Eklöf 1,635 Ruud 2,172 Oliver Berntzon 1,16 Peter Karlsson 2,176 Daniel Henderson 0,918 Henrik Karlsson 0,914 11,204
  17. Bosse picked the right team imo. Davidsson have struggled all season except the latest meeting, Antonio have been too much up and down.
  18. Imo, there's no need for a new thread For each new gp or swc event. Put it all into one thread, call it sgp/swc racecards and make it a sticky thread. Then everyone knows where to post racecards and where look for them and thus elimates the need for new threads for each race card.
  19. Lonigo updates: http://live.espeedway.pl/race_detail.php?id=2988 we'll see if any updates will show here.
  20. As always the two sides in the conflict From what understand Vargarna claims that Tai have not fulfilled his duties, by not bringing appropriate equipment/engines and/or by declining to ride with the motivation that he didn't have any engines available. Who's right and who's wrong i don't know. perhaps both or neither. I would like to claim that the "Truth" usually is somewhere inbetween. and i wouldn't trust a newspaper journalist too much either.
