  1. Joel Kling has decided to quit his speedway career. He says that all the hours he need to spend in the garage between his meetings makes it not worth to continue. https://www.dagenshultsfred.se/sport/speedway/e/106635/joel-lagger-slapskon-pa-hyllan-vill-fa-alla-grejer-salda-sa-fort-som-mojligt
  2. Rules set for next season: Floor average 8.000 Average cap 9.000 2019 heatschedule / riders Tactictal subtstitue limit changed back to 6 point. R/R for the 4 best riders with no restrictions No demotion to lower leagues but a team from Allsvenskan will be able to be promoted to Elitserien Requirement for two Swedish riders. All Swedish riders with an average lower then 1.000 will have an average discount and have their averages lowered to 0,500. https://www.svemo.se/globalassets/svemo-forbundet/dokumentcenter/protokoll/speedway/2021/beslutsprotokoll_3_track-racing_gallande-elitserien_2022.pdf On scale 1-10 where 10 is excellent I give the new rules a 2. Very very very poor rule changes. Will increase cost and we will again see mediocre foreign riders filling yup the teams,
  3. Correct. http://speedwayfans.se/fredrik-lindgren-avslutar-sasongen-behover-ta-hand-om-mig-sjalv-och-familjen/ I haven't seen any info about who will replace him but Thorssell would be the logic decision.
  4. Predictable? Yes (without Laguta) but boring? Some really good battles tonight. You should be grateful that you are not watching Vetlanda vs Rospiggarna. That would have been boring.
  5. As I said a few days ago, top 8 safe for next season, rest will have to qualify with one wild card reserved if one of the regular happens to get injured. If a rider doesn't manage top 8 and doesn't manage to qualify or don't bother to enter qualifiers then that one have to sit out a year.
  6. That should apply to all riders (Including current GP-riders) then, do away with the wild cards and keep 1 wild card if someone of the top riders fall out because of injury.
  7. Russian anthem, flag and national teams are not allowed due to a collective doping ban on Russian sports.
  8. Perhaps but he only managed top 8 once in 6 tries (including this season (injured)) so does he really deserve another try? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Vaculík
  9. Kubera is 22, Gleb Chugonov is 21......and they didn't do too bad.
  10. The presentation said Discovery's free to air linear tv channels for regular linear tv.
  11. True but SoN/SWC isn't really the same high profile event as SGP IMO and I think even Vojens is a bit on the basic side.
  12. Vojens is back after all, not really an exciting choice but neither surprising since there aren't really much else to choose from if you want the GP on a permanent track.
  13. Not a very good choice with Målilla in mid September, could be very cold and rainy (worse then usual).
