There was a discussion between the referee, team managers and team captains. They will wait for the rain to stop and a new decision will be taken at 20.30 Swedish time. If the rain stops completely before that track work will start immediately. Other wise final call is at 20.30. Track staff needs about one hour to grade the track.

The referee Björn Yngve was interviewed on Cmore and he said as it looks now the teams will probably give it a go but if the rain intensifies it will likely get postponed. In that case Monday is the likely day for a new and only attempt.

Kasper Woryna will ride at nr 2 for Smederna, no R/R for G. Laguta. My guess is that G. Laguta probably won't be in the line up on Wednesday eithereither and that Smederna will use the same 7 riders since Laguta didn't ride in the Polish final.

IIRC he had some involvement with Antonio Lindbäck for a brief period of time.

Former Smederna rider Linus Eklöf has decided to retire. He says it is due his wife/girlfriend is expecting and that he is starting on a new job in Stockholm. To be honest I'm not really a fan of the Vojens track but there aren't really that many options. Holsted? Parken (Copenhagen)? Horsens? Most Danish tracks have a quite low standard.

Read some news in Swedish speedway magazine Speedway racing. SGP will revert to the old format with only one GP /weekend. And Tony Rickardsson has apparently been recruited as an ambassador for SGP.

So semi final teams seems to be decided and it will be interesting to see what opponent Smederna will choose. Rospiggarna looks good but I still think Smederna will chose them.

Hampel and Kubera are still not allowed to ride for their Swedish teams. I also soul assume R/R for Lambert since he is put as nr 2.

No Hampel next week either, he is still being stopped by Lublin. Lejonen see it as a breach of contract and such they can fine the rider but they will have talk with Jarek first.
