  1. The tv meeting between Piraterna-Vargarna delayed because of rain and at 19.30 Swedish time a decision will be taken whether that meeting will go ahead or not. Live scores for tonights meetings: Elit Vetlanda- Indianerna http://www.aktuellsp....15.7.php?id=99 Piraterna - Vargarna http://www.aktuellsp...15.7.php?id=100 Hammarby - Västervik http://www.aktuellsp...15.7.php?id=101 Lejonen - Valsarna http://www.aktuellsp...15.7.php?id=102
  2. this stream is working good for me: http://www.veetle.co...w#4de650bc69917
  3. i don't agree about PK in. besides he is not interested since said a few years ago that he had done his part and that it was time to let the younger ones in. my 5 riders would be AJ,Freddie, Anto9, JD and THJ,
  4. the Swedish team has been nominated: Andreas Jonsson, Dackarna Fredrik Lindgren, Dackarna Antonio Lindbäck, Indianerna Simon Gustafsson, Indianerna Jonas Davidsson, Piraterna Tomas H Jonasson, Vetlanda Daniel Nermark, Valsarna Peter Ljung, Västervik Dennis Andersson, Lejonen David Ruud, Lejonen Zorro have declined participation.,
  5. Smederna's Linus Eklöf is injured after a crash two days ago. A dislocated elbow means three weeks with his arm in a cast. Linus will miss about a month of racing. This means that LInus probably will miss the back to back meetings with Avantia in the end (23rd &30th) of June. http://ekuriren.se/sport/speedway/1.1073816-linus-gipsad-efter-vurpa
  6. some general comments/opinions is that the rules needs to be changed for both R/R, for the calculation of floating averages and eligibility for riding at reserve needs to be changed. I think its way wrong that a team can use R/R for the same rider, week after week after week. it should be maximum two rounds per injury period. I also dislike the way that the alternating average is calculated as it gives to large variations from one round to the next. This also means that reserves can get a very high floating average which means that R/R can be used for them. This is resulting in that riders like, NIcholls, Sullivan, Ruud, Skornicki and similar riders can ride at the reserve in Elitserien which feels quite wrong.
  7. Elitserien Round 6, Tuesday June 7th All meetings start at 19.00 Swedish time. Elit Vetlanda - Indianerna , Vetlanda Motorstadion. Elit Vetlanda Janusz Kolodziej (PL) Thomas h Jonasson (SE) Jaroslaw Hampel (PL) Peter Karlsson (SE) Jason Crump (AU) Pawel Hlib Henric Lindqvist (SE) Indianerna Piotr Protasiewicz (PL) Joonas Kylmäkorpi (FI) Bjarne Pedersen (DK) Niels-kristian Iversen (DK) Antonio Lindbäck (SE) Simon Gustafsson (SE) Ryan Sullivan (AU) Before the season started everyone would have expected this to be a top meeting, however Elit Vetlanda have had huge problems this year and they are currently parked at last place with only 1 victory in the first five rounds and even though they are only 2 points away from 4th place . Again the reserves are Vetlanda's week point with Hlib and Lindqvist. Unfortunately for Vetlanda they don't have any o ther riders to go with if they wants to stay under the cap. I also understand that Vetlanda intends replace Balinski but there are most likely not much choice on riders to sign. Just read Vetlandas team managers comment on Vetlandas website and for some (covering up?) reason the team he mentions and the one registered are different. Indianerna on the other hand is so far keeping the steam up, they were expected to do well and so far they have done well. Especially Antonio have been riding very well and i hope that both he and Indianerna will continue to do well. I think if Indianerna wants to win this meeting they both needs to have their best gating boots and and especially Simon and Ryan needs to raise their level quite a bit but i do think that Indianerna have a very good chance of winning this. Hammarby - Västervik, Gubbängens IP Hammarby Grzegorz Walasek (PL) Robert Kosiecha (PL) Tomasz Gollob (PL) Rory Schlein (AU) Magnus Zetterström (SE) Andrej Karpov Alexander Edberg (SE) Västervik Sebastian Ulamek (PL) Tomasz Jedrzejak (PL) Chris Harris (GB) Nikolai Klindt (DK) Peter Ljung (SE) Pontus Aspgren (SE) Rafal Okoniewski (PL) Hammarby have their 3rd home meeting in 4 weeks and they shouldn't not have any problems at home with defeating Västervik. Hammarby have won their two previous home meetings but have lost their away meetings. Like Vetlanda's track Gubbängen have this season most been about who gates first is also the first to finish. Västervik will have to manage without Adam Shields who are injured. Rafal Okoniewski will step in at reserve as a replacement for Shields. Also its notable that Hammarby have "demoted" Golloob from nr 5 to nr 3. Possible because Gollobs scoring have been mediocre with an average score of 7,5/meeting. Lejonen - Valsarna, NTEX Arena. Lejonen Piotr Swiderski (PL) Dennis Andersson (SE) Chris Holder (AU) Darcy Ward (AU) Mikael Max (SE) Sebastian Aldén (SE) David Ruud (SE) Valsarna Grigorij Laguta (RU) Artem Laguta (LV) Krzysztof Buczkowski David Watt (AU) Daniel Nermark (SE) Ludvig Lindgren (SE) Scott Nicholls (GB) Lejonen are still undefeated at home and even if Valsarna made a very good performance last week when they won away against Dackarna i think Valsarna will struggle against Lejonen. Buczek switches position with Nicholls. Other changes for Valsarna is that Nermark is moved up to nr 1 and Grigorij Laguta is moved to nr 5. Piraterna-Vargarna, Biltema Arena Televised meeting. Piraterna Maciej Janowski (PL) Rafal Dobrucki (PL) R/R Jonas Davidsson (SE) Przemyslaw Pawlicki (PL) Greg Hancock (US) Daniel Davidsson (SE) Linus Sundström (SE) Vargarna: Lee Richardson (GB) Michael Jepsen jensen (DK) Nicki Pedersen (DK) Kim Nilsson (SE) Krzystof Kasprazak (PL) Adam Skornicki (PL) André Hertzberg (SE) Piraterna is 4th with 2 victories and two losses and the same goes for Vargarna who currently are 6th. This is the televised meeting and i think C+ made the correct decision when they chose this meeting as the TV meeting, since this could be a tight meeting with very good racing since the track usually can provide pretty good racing. Piraterna continues to use R/R for Dobrucki as its more favourable then to use another rider. Vargarna have by tradition had hard times at Piraterna's track and I don't think Vargarna will manage a win this time either since I think Piraterna really can benefit from the R/R and get extra heats for their 4 best riders. I also think that Piraterna's reserves are bit stronger combined then Vargarna's ditto which could be the decisive factor. Also interesting to see that Miedzinski & tai are out in favour of Jepsen Jensen & Skora. Also interesting to see that Michal Szczepaniak who have done good so far for Vargarna and also previously have ridden for Piraterna are left outside the team.
  8. poor riding by Gollob, second time he almost fenced Nicki tonight.
  9. sounds good that Daniel Gunnestad did well, hopefully we will see him ride for Smederna in their next meeting, home against Avantia on June 23rd.
  10. Bjerre was not happy with the track. "The track was lethal and there are more riders then me who thinks so, says Bjerre". apparently the were allot of wholes/ruts in the track. http://www.racemcspo...-danska-finalen
  11. Here you go: http://www.speedway-league.com/liveupdate20110603.htm
  12. Friday August 5th at Esbjerg is round 2. Kenni Larsens schedule only have two rounds listed. So i guess there are only 2 rounds.
  13. accident in Nyköping as well John Lindman falls just after passing the finish line.
  14. comments say that it was Linus Lydin who was taken away. Jari Mäkinen will replace him.
  15. what happened in the current heat? had to do a restart and all i see is riders lying on the track.
  16. thats right i didn't remember whether it was Britain or Denamrk. Anyway a great start by Smederna.
  17. live scores also available at aktuellspeedway. Örnarna-Masarna http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/liveupdate/2.15.7.php?id=94 Rospiggarna - Ikaros Smederna http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/liveupdate/2.15.7.php?id=95 Griparna - Gnistorna http://www.aktuellspeedway.se/liveupdate/2.15.7.php?id=96
  18. Balinski is expected to have to have his arm in a cast for about 3 weeks and then some 11 weeks is needed for rehabilitation.
  19. Its thursday again and you know what that means! Allsvenskan live on the net. Tonights meetings are Rospiggarna vs. Ikaros Smederna Örnarna vs. Masarna Griparna - FNC Gnistorna The current standings are: Ikaros Smederna, 3 wins, 1 tied, 7p Rospiggarna, 3 wins, 1 loss, 6p Masarna, 2 win and 1 tied, 5p Örnarna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p Griparna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p FNC Gnistorna, 1 win, 2 losses, 2p Avantia, 4 losses, 0p So except for the top 3 its very close. Lineups; Rospiggarna - Ikaros Smederna Rospiggarna Kim Nilsson (SE) Andreas Messing (SE) Simon Gustafsson (SE) Ludvig Lindgren (SE) Andreas Jonsson (SE) Jari Mäkinen (FI) Linus Lydin (SE) A very strong looking lineup, Rospiggarna should be considered to be the favourites in this meeting. Last week: Rospigagrna suffered a narrow defeat home against Masarna, partially because AJ had some problems with his bike causing him to miss the 2 min limit and partially because Masarna rode very well. Ikaros Smederna Magnus Zetterström (SE) Daniel Henderson (SE) Thomas h Jonasson (SE) Ricky Kling (SE) Henrik Karlsson (SE) Linus Eklöf (SE) Rasmus Eklöf (SE) Rasmus Broberg (SE) Smederna will have to manage without Kenni Larsen who is occupied in Britain tonight, Thomas H Jonasson who isn't feeling well after a crash in Poland (or was it Latvia) last weekend and Emil Pulcynski who have commitments in Poland, Ricky Kling will replace THJ as nr 3 and it will be Ricky's debute with Smederna. This also means that both of the Rasmuses will ride as nr 6 and 7, IT will be a very tough meeting for Smederna but they can do it. I think Zorro and Eklöf will continue to deliver but Danny and Henke need to step it up and scores a few mre point then they have done previously from the mainbody of the team. Hopefully R&R can bring in a point or two each aswell. Last week: Smederna took an impressive win @ home over Örnarna. Worth noting is that 13 out of 14 riders are Swedish and that 5½ out of Smedernas riders are their own products, Daniel Henderson is originally from Stockholm were he started his career at Gamarna but he have been riding for Smederna for the enitire part of his 500cc career. He is the little brother of former speedway rider Robert Henderson (who has switched to ice racing) and Daniel is also the nephew of Kenny Olsson who tragically was killed in accident at Kråkvilan a few years ago, predection; 48-42 but i hope for the opposite. Örnarna vs. Masarna Örnarna Peter Karlsson (SE) Christian Agö (SE) Jonas Davidsson (SE) Robin Aspegren (SE) Henrik Gustafsson (SE) Niklas Eriksson (SE) Pontus Nilsson (SE) Örnarna made a weak impression last week and need to do allot better tonight if they want win. PK is back in the mainbody of the team after a solid performance at the reserve last week and imo it will make the team stronger. The other change is that Magnus Karlsson is out and Henrik Gustafsson is in. Last week: Örnarnas lost away against Smederna and wasnt really near of winning that meeting. Masarna: Pontus Aspgren (SE) Eric Andersson (SE) Antonio Lindbäck (SE) Jacob Thorssell (SE) Sebastian Aldén (SE) Anton Rosén (SE) Andreas Westlund (SE) Can Masarna repeat last weeks performance? if they do i think they have a very good chance of winning especially since Anto9b continues to show good form. Last week: A narrow victory away against Rospiggarna. Prediction: 44-46 Griparna - FNC Gnistorna Griparna Daniel Davidsson (SE) Juha Hautamäki (FI) Kennet Hansen (DK) Alexander Edberg (SE) Mads Korneliussen (DK) Robin Törnqvist (SE) John Lindman (SE) Mads Korneliuseen is back into the team after a period with injuries which should give Griparna some more strength which they need if the intend to defeat Gnistorna. Last week: Griparna took a comfortable away win last week against avantia in Norrköping. FNC Gnistorna Jesper V Kristiansen (DK) Robert Pettersson (SE) David Ruud (SE) Christian Isomettä (SE) Mikael Max (SE) Oliver Berntzon (SE) Mathias Thörnblom (SE) Gnsitorna with Ruud are up against a good team and i think Ruud and Max need to be close to maximum points if Gnistorna should have a chance against Griparna. as the rest of the team doesn't look as Griparna's team. Last week: Gnistorna didn't have a meeting last week prediction: 50-40 The weather is looking pretty good with partially sunny weather during the afternoon with less clouds towards the evening. live scores available at: http://www.svemo.se/Grenar/Speedway/ and streams at http://live.speedwayallsvenskan.se All meetings starts at 19.00 Swedish time / 6pm UK time.
  20. Nicki Pedersen and his two mechanics escaped without injuries when they bus they were travelling in, collided with a moose. It happened on their way back to Denmark after the meeting in Norrköping two days ago. The bus were heavily demolished but moose survived. http://www.expressen.se/sport/motorsport/1.2456986/pedersen-i-valdsam-krock-med-svensk-alg
  21. If i am correct the only riders that have a certain minimum number of heats is the Swedish U21 riders or, in case there are more then one SweU21 rider in the lineup, the Swedish u21 rider with the lowest floating average. They have a minimum of three rides. Tactical substitutes can be used when a team is 6points ore more behind and is allowed in heats 6-10 &12-14. There is no limits for minimum heats for a rider for him/her to be able to be replaced with a ts,
  22. Vargarna-Elit Vetlanda aborted after 13 heats due to dangerous track (according to ref) Vargarna won with 40-38, Apparently the ref made a mistake since the heat was stopped due to a whole in the track and it seems that the rules say that in this situation Vetlanda should have been awarded a 5-1 due that the heat was frozen, When a heat is frozen the standings in the heat should be as they were before the heat was stopped and it is said that Vetlanda had a 5-1 then so they shoukd have won the heat with 5.1 which would have meant that they would have won the meeting, please note i am not sure of that all of the above is 100% correct.
