Ghostwalker replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
no Tommy Rander no S at the end NKI was most likely excluded because he pushing/pulliong his front wheel back and forward into the tape and continued when the ref lighted the green light. -

World Team Cup: Team Makeup.
Ghostwalker replied to Edward Barrett's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Spook, neither Kennett or Woffinden has been Particulary successful in Sweden this season.. On the contrary both have been quite mediocre in Sweden so far. Kennett have scored 10p from 3 meetings (12 heats) and tai have 14p from 3 meetinsg (13 heats) and atleast one of the meetings he have ridden as a reserve. I am sure they will improve in the next couple of years but neither of them are GP material at the moment and probably not the next 1-2 years. -
yes that was what i meant. for speedway broadcast schedule check http://www.canalplus.se/speedway.aspx
-
nope the speedway will go ahead as usual. About Smedernas team, i reckon that Daniel Henderson will mostly stand on the sideline while big brother Robert is the one who will take on the riding.
-
yes there will!! tickets can either be bought via www.ticnet.se or at the entrance during the SM weekend.

World Team Cup: Team Makeup.
Ghostwalker replied to Edward Barrett's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
hagonshocker, PK said last year that he will not ride the SWC unless in case of injuries. I think that its time for the youner ones ro take the call. the n5 trio has about the same scoring level but i think i'd go for Nermark. -
World Team Cup: Team Makeup.
Ghostwalker replied to Edward Barrett's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
for the Swedish team i think i would go with: 1. Andreas Jonsson 2. Freddie Lindgren 3. Jonas Davidsson 4. Antonio Lindbäck 5. Nermark/Ruud/Zorro -
the JSM qual. was aborted yesterday and is held today instead. and they are currently 8 heats into the race. live updates at this link: http://www.speedwayportalen.byethost22.com...M_kval_2009.htm
-
works fine for me.
-
Nicholls actually won a heat?
-
meeting aborted after only 5 heats apparently the track was not satisfactoty and was too difficult to ride on. Jeremia Thelaus had to be taken away with ambulance after a fall. Reports say that he have shoulder pains. The meeting will be re-staged tomorrow at 15.00

had a quick look at svemo's race calendar and there is nothing listed. Byt its possible that these tests are included in the official race calendar. Anders or Tarabanko probably have more info...
-

Will Aj Ride Tonight?
Ghostwalker replied to beesboybert's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
AJ will ride as he felt much better this morning. I really hope he is 100% then coz' if he still is a bit ill he shouldnt ride. @ Jenn with such a short notice i am quite sure that it would be the track reserves. -
luckily yes. without the roof there wouldnt have been possible to have a GP tonight. I also read that AJ is feeling better and will ride tonight.
-
you are pretty much correct about the track. At Ullevi they said after the practice that the track looked good...
-
according to Swedish televisions GP blog, Andreas Jonsson had to abort his practice session after he starting to feel very ill most likely affected by a virus. "at the moment Andreas is lying down in his service bus. he feels terrible says AJ's partner Frida". *update* the latest news is that Andreas suffers from high fever and a soar throat. http://gpbloggen.wordpress.com/2009/06/12/...ackad-av-virus/

with immediate effect a new rule have been imposed in sweden. previously there have been some problems with riders walking around on the track and having opinions on the track occasionally causing delays by persuading the referee to grade the track in another way to suite them better. but from now on from each team, only the team manager and team captain are allowed on the track between 18.00 and the start of the meeting. Track staff, the race director and the referee are of course also allowed on the track. any riders who fails to comply with this rule and steps out onto the track during the specified time frame will receive a warning. If the rider repeat the violation he will get another warning and will be banned from the rest of the meeting. another two warnings in a later meeting would mean a ban for the rest of the season.

Simon rode in this weeks Elitserien meeting between Vargarna and Indianerna and scored 5p. he did ride in the qualifications to the Individual Swedish championship final yesterday, He didnt do well scoring only 2pts and had a fall in his 3rd heat. So i think that fall is the reason to why he didnt ride tonight for Hammarby.

Grand Prix Qualifier, Gorican 27.6.
Ghostwalker replied to tomazpozrl's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
in that case away with David Ruud & Janusz Kolodziej. about Bridger well i dont know be he is a bit inexperienced when it comes to tougher opposition and i think experience is a good thing in these meetings I also do think Ruud can mix in with a top 8 but not a top 6. Bridgers time in the GPs will come but it wont be this year -
