about Ikaros Smedernas team im starting to wonder why last years positive surprise Robert Miskowiak never gets the chance. he rode very well at Smedstadion last season and i think he would do better then Buczkowski who has been far from impressive.

Fim Team Under-21 World Championship
Ghostwalker replied to PhilK's topic in International World of Speedway
i think in the future all official FIM meetings, U21 team World Cup, U21/19 world/euro champs (including qualifiers) as well as qualifications to the GPs must be held on tracks with airfences. I dont know if this would have helped Petersen but atleast i mght prevent things like this in the future. -

looking at some photos of the track and it seems to have a static wooden fence all around or did they use airfence for this meeting? -

primarily a very sad day for HIM secondly a sad day for speedway in general and German speedway in particular. This is the last thing speedway needs, another paralysed rider who will be in a wheel chair the rest of his life. Its been too much of this the past few years with deaths and riers who have become paralyzed im just waiting for the anti-speedway mafia* to start yell "ban speedway!!!, ban speedway!!!". * in Sweden they are more commonly known as media. -
Pedersen Breaks Finger Having Tantrum
Ghostwalker replied to Rob B's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I dont how you even can suggest that he ran into Jagus on purpose. I was there at the GP (Eskilstuna 2 years ago) and Jagus went for a wider line while Nicki tried on the inside. after about 2/3 through the corner Nicki suddenly finds allot more grip then expected and as the front wheel lifts up Nicki is more or less a passenger. Also note that i say this despite that Jagoda is of my favourite riders since he rides for my favorite team in Sweden. Nicki has done some stupd things during his career but its very silly that people like you blame him for everything no matter if its his fault or not. If you remeber in Prague 5 weeks ago EMil ran into Nicki just after the start ib final and was granted a postion in the restart so Emil is no saint either. yeah i think so too. Emil have a reputation of being a bit wild sometimes so i dont think its a coincident that it was those two who were involved. we will probably see more of Nicki vs. Emil incidents. -

well i kinda doubt that. Sweden could have put this team on the track: 1. Tomas H Jonasson 2. Simon Gustafsson 3. Billy Forsberg 4. Ludvig Lindgren 5. Linus Eklöf but neither Simon Gustafsson or Billy Forsberg could participate due to injury and they are together with Jonasson our 3 best U21 riders. Unforunately for Billy this was his last chance of a U21 team title as he'll be 22 y.o. next year. -

the answer is simple. release the throttle a bit let Nicki pass and then try to go on Nickis inside. NO ONE forced Emil to stay on Nickis outside. Emil should have backed off earlier and realized that Nicki had passed him. I think referee decisions like this might take away riders intrest in trying to make a pass since if there is contact they will get excluded. Sure Nicki was only 95% ahead of Emi but the last 20-30 centimeters should not matter. A rider should realize that he is passed and should act accordingly to that. It would be different if they both were side by side but that was not he case here. Nicki was first into the corner and should be allowed to choose which line he want. -
yep! All of these links are different kind of streams encoded by a special protocols like. To be able to view most streams (except a few like http://* and mms://* *.aspx) you will need a third party software like sopcast, tvu. tvants and etc... sopcast is the most commonly used. i recommend you to read the beginners guide: http://www.myp2p.eu/guide.php?part=software well i've been using myp2p.eu for over a year and have never had any problems with viruses and etc..

Another Ridiculous Exclusion
Ghostwalker replied to Brummie Boy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
you couldnt be more wrong. Emil went to wide and stayed at the outside line too long. He should have eased of on throttle to go on the inside of Nicki but he choosed to stay on Nickis outside after all nicki was first into the bend and therefore should be allowed to choose which line he wants not his fault EMil stayed on the outside. -

QUOTE (Rob B @ May 31 2009, 12:37 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BUT Pedersen is the grandmaster of doing the move you described, looking over when being pased then moving in on the rider to make contact then fall off, he has done it so many times. yes but that is irrelevant when it comes who's fault it was. the only thing that counts is what happened then and there. A referee should never ever take a decision of exclusion based on who the rider is. We cant have referees making decisions based on what riders they like or don't like instead of taking a decision based on who's fault it is. -

actually the Swedish commentators Johan Ejeborg and Erik Stenlund said that there had been complaint from the riders about the state of the track. Too slick, Too hard, too dry and too difficult. But i wonder if IMG/Ole really care if the do they shouldnt hold agp on Ullevi in the first place. On top of that Ole's claims that the track "is 100% better then last year" is just pathetic. -

yeah Emil should have been ex'd. Where were Nicki supposed to go straigh into the fence or release the throttle and let Emil go around?. This time i really understand Nickis frustration and i think i agree with him that the ref's exclude him because his Nicki. and Emil wins his 2nd GP!!!!!!!!!! -

yeah i agree. And Ole Olsen is a funny man. Yesterday he claimed that the track was 100% better then last year but now we know that he was only joking. Coz' if he didnt i really wonder what is so much better this year? -

though i am not 100 % sure i think what it says is that you need to fill in your personal information to register but that you can give or deny them or their partners the right to, use it for marketing surveys (the first give/deny) and advertisings sent out via email or sms (not spam). The emails will have info about special offers at ticketone or from their partners. The second give/deny consent only applies if you are company. Again this is what i think it says and i am not sure.

Vargarna are interested in lending Troy Batchelor from Ikaros Smederna. Smederna Team manager says he might consider a switch with Troy for Kim Nilsson. Personally i'd prefer to keep Troy he have only been riding in 3 meetings and though he didnt do good at the two home meetings i think given some time he will improve. About Kim he is a talent but i don't understand why we would need another low scoring U21 rider? Kim havent really done good this season from reserve. He would have to fight with Eklöf/R.Henderson/ R. Bergqvist for the last spot in the lineup. It feels like Smederna wouldn't gain anything on it more likely loose on it.

well no matter what happens on Saturday they still will comeback for next year since Ullevi signed a 3 year deal. And as long as they have 15-20'000 people watching it i doubt that they will move coz' money talk and more spectators is why they moved it back to Ullevi from Eskilstuna. -

in general i think its the same old story about who will do good. Crump, Nicki, Hans, Gollob, Greg.... It will be interesting to see how Emil handles this long temporary track. Track length is 400m+. Hard to predict without a proper draw but i think The Final: 1. Nicki 2. Crump 3. Gollob 4. AJ Semis: Nicki Crump Gollob AJ Greg Lindgren Adams Emil S.
