  1. its usually the opposite and great race track. I also read somewhere that the tracks are made slick because of safety reasons.
  2. PREVIEW OF SWEDISH ELITSERIEN ROUND 3 Tuesday May 12th 2009 Elit Vetlanda - Piraterna Elit Vetlanda (home) at Vetlanda Motorstadion 1. Lee Richardson 2. Peter Ljung 3. Jaroslaw Hampel 4. Tomas H Jonasson 5. Jason Crump 6. Patrik Hougaard 7. Adrian Gomolski 8. Robin Aspegren Piraterna 1. Rafal Okoniewski 2. Antonio Lindbäck 3. Damian Balinki 4. Rafal Dobrucki 5. Jonas Davidsson 6. Daniel Nermark 7. Linus Sundström 8. Oliver Berndtzon This is a very interesting meeting. Vetlanda have started the season with an easy won at home against Västervik and a narrow win away against Ikaros Smederna. In this 3rd round Piraterna is the opposition. They have started the season with one away loss and a home win. Piraterna is a good team and have strong reserves in Sundström and Nermark but Vetlanda have Crump as their ace in the sleeve. So I think that Crump will be the decisive factor and lead Vetlanda to their 3rd straight victory. *uppdate* Emil S injured and will be replaced by Okoniewski. Ikaros Smederna - Västervik Televised meeting at Smedstadion Ikaros Smederna (home) 1. Krzystof Kasprasak 2. Micke Max 3. Zorro 4. Troy Batchelor 5. Daniel King 6. Linus Eklöf 7. Krzystof Buskowski 8. Robin Bergqvist Västervik 1. Bjarne Pedersen 2. Chris Harris 3. Nils-Kristiann Iversen 4. Gregorsz Lagota 5. Tomasz Gollob 6. Anton Roseén 7. Artem Laguta 8. Pontus Aspgren This could have been an interesting meeting but without Jagus Ikaros Smederna will have a very difficult time against Västervik. Mikael Max will make his debut as 1-5 rider this season while Daniel king will ride as nr5 for the first time in Sweden and Buczek makes is first appearance for Smederna this season. Smederna's rider have been a bit up and down so far this season and especially Kasper needs to step it up if Smederna are going to have any chance. For Västervik Gapinski will not ride due a crash in Poland yesterday evening. Artem Laguta will replace Gapisnksi and will ride as nr 7 which mean that Chris Harris will be moved up to nr2. Both Gollob and especially Iversen usually rides good at Smedstadion. Indianerna - Dackarna at Sannahed Indianerna (home) 1. Gregorsz Walasek 2. Matej Ferjan 3. piotr Protacewizs 4. Renat Gafurov 5. Rune Holta 6. Christian Hefenbrook 7. Alexander Edberg 8. David Rohlén Dackarna 1. Andreas Jonsson 2. Zengota 3. Fredrik Lindgren 4. Peter Karlsson 5. Hans Andersen 6. Ludwig Lindgren 7. Claus Vissing 8. Niklas Larsson This is another very interesting meeting. Indianerna are strong at home on their very long track (375m) but Dackarna have a very strong team. The Lindgren brothers started their career riding for Indianerna so they should be very familiar with the track and AJ showed good form the past weekend. It is probably going to be a close meeting all the way to the finish. Rospiggarna - Lejonen at Orionparken Rospiggarna (home) 1. Greg Hancock 2. Henka Gustavsson 3. Janus Kolodjez 4. Chris Slabon 5. Ryan Sullivan 6. charlie Gjedde 7. jonas Messing 8. Robin Burestad Lejonen 1, Nicki Pedersen 2. David Ruud 3. Piotr Swiderski 4. Ricky Kling 5. Sebastian Ulamek 6. Robert Pettersson 7. Emil Kramer 8. Dennis Andersson I think Rospiggarna will have a hard time in this meeting although Sullivan is back. *update* Dave Watt will not ride annd Ricku Kling will be promoted to the nr2 position while Emil Kramer steps in as a reserve. Vargarna does not have a meeting this week. more info @ www.Speedway.nu and @ www.elitspeedway.nu
  3. i would guess that Iversen will get the WC if not him possibly Charlie Gjedde. NKI would be my first choice.
  4. well apparently he is/was as he's not riding on Tuesday.
  5. does anyone know what happened with Jagus? he rode very poor and had a crash and later it looked like he might have got a smaller foot injury coz he was resting his foot on a chair?
  6. well i disagree. If you remember the GP two weeks ago we had an almost identical situation were Emil S ran into Nicki but was not excluded this Nicki got Ex'd for the same thing probably because he is Nicki. as for AJ the ref claimed technical error but the starter hadnt moved away so i just think AJ lost it and the ref screwed up somehow and claimed technical error to save his own a**.
  7. that someone else is Tony Olsson. i think he is like assistant track director or something like that.
  8. the FAQ says that if you have a problem registering it might be because you email is already registered. If you are sure that you dont have registered before and using an alternate email doesnt help you should use the contact form to email them for help.
  9. i dont know, but i have just had a look at Lotsarnas website and there is no mentioning of any meeting at Ullevi. After reading their guestbook it seems that Lotsarna doesnt even have any riders and just borrows riders for their meetings. What i do know is that last year there was a practice session like a week, week and a half before the GP to which they had invited a few Swedish riders in purpose of testing the track.
  10. Well i dont know. I think they are afraid that they cant fill up the track preparation pauses with anything so they start 30 min later then the gp and edit out the pauses.
  11. i think that those shorts delays depends on how you receivw the signal. I have noticed for other events that webradio broadcast is usually some 30-60 seconds behind the tv broadcast (at least tv received via regular tv antenna).
  12. i definitely thinks Scotty should be out next year. Rico might not me a Jason Crumpo but i think he would do better the Nicholls.
  13. at least sky sports shows it live from the start unlike other public tv broadcasters who stubbornly continues with its 30 min delayed broadcast. At least the commentators are on scene and can do interviews and etc...
  14. no not that i know of. I have had a quick look and just gneral text reports from the gp. It might pop up something later but i dont think so.
  15. well i would claim the opposite. if the starter hadnt cleared off the ref couldnt have tried to release the tape when AJ blasted through and i also think the starter was looking at AJ and wondered what was going on.
  16. according to Swedish commentators Emil has just been at the doctor apparently some problem with his cheek bones.
  17. yeah this ref is really weird allthough the ref claims technical error. but i dont know if it really was or if the ref screw up. *edit* i mean its easy to say afterwards that it was a technical error if he did screw up.
  18. hey wow Greg does an interview in Swedish and he's really good at it! :D
  19. i'm with wanna here, sure Nicki tried to lean on Walsek but Walesek wasnt any better when he tried to push Nicki out and just went straigh ahead right into Nicki. IMO all 4 back would have been the most appropiate for first bend incidents like these especially with the lack of consitency from the ref's.

  21. it depends where you are located svt.se will only work with a swedish ip. otherwise there are a bunch of streams here: http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=...amp;part=sports
  22. race card can also be found here: http://www.speedwayportalen.byethost22.com.../gp_program.htm
  23. the postoned meeting between Vargarna and Norrköping was held earlier tonight. Vargarna won with a crushing 58-38. Individual Scores: Vargarna: Adam Skornicki 12, Adam Shields 11, Adrian Miedzinski 10, Scott Nicholls 9, Joe Screen 7, Jonas Andersson 4, Kim Nilsson 3, Niklas Klingberg 2. Rospiggarna: Greg Hancock 15, Charlie Gjedde 9, Henrik Gustafsson 8, Maciej Janowski 3, Jonas Messing 2, Janusz Kolodziej. Spectators: 612.
  24. Anders if may ask, Ikaros Smederna's presenter Zetters interviewed an Anders twice during the meeting was that you?
