Piraterna is going to have a press conference later today at 15.00 where they are going to present a new rider. Probably it will Antonio LIndbäck who then will leave the newly promoted Vargarna. -
Wild Cards For 09

allot of people in here moans about Scott not bothering with the qualifications, but they consider Emil and Holder for WC. Shouldn't Emil and Holder qualify on their own just like Ulamek, Walasek and Bjerre? IMO both Holder and especially Emil are a bit too young to be in the GPs just yet. Holder should wait to 2010 and emil possible to '10 or '11. Just look at Lindgren and Kasper this year and Antonio and Hans Andersen a couple of years ago. All of them were good in the leagues but struggled in the GPs. So for next season i would choose Jonas D instad of either Holder and Emil If i could decdide in the future i would scrap all this WC nominations and just have a qualifying series replacing the qualification final. -
yeah and what about Jarkko Nieminen
-
i agree Peter but i also kinda like Peter Nahlin's (swedish tv commentator) suggestion about having atleast the final round at a temporary track to take the neutrality a step further.

AJAJAJ says today in Aftonbladet that his threat of boycotting the Swedish World Cup team was just bluff. He says he wanted to get some reactions about how the Swedish Motorcyclesports Federation (SVEMO) was run. if you "translates" that to English it means AJ himself wanted more attention. he has done similar things before when he felt that he didnt got enough attention from media.

well Jennie i seriously doubt that they bring Hampel in when they've already got Holta, Gollob, Walasek and Ulamek in there. But i agree on the thing about 18 year old riders. -
lol Countries? Votes? its all down to a very few number of poeple at BSI/IMG.

well i think the problems is if one rider wins more then one final that qualifies him to the Super Prix, which second placed rider should be moved up and why him and not the other(s)?

im pretty sure hampel wont get one when there's already 3 or 4 Poles. The same with Iversen 3 danes already and what motivates 4-5 and 4 danes and 1-2 swedes? -
Congratulations Nicki

im sure she is a very nice person. but it was impossible to undertsand what she was saying except "Dejligt" -
Swedish commentator Peter Nahlin said that it could be the deal with a possible Australian Gp and that many riders considered it to expensive to go there to ride and that may not be worth it for them.

First of arent there only 4 gps: Freddie and Scott should be pretty certain for one wc each but for the the other two WC's i dont know. I wouldnt be surprised if Harris got one simply because he is a brit and that the BSI would want more then 1 brit in the GPs along with all the 4 polish riders Gollob?, Walasek, Ulamek and Holta and three danes Nicki, Hans and Bjerre. This should mean that no Polish or Danish rider gets a WC. Possible other candidates are Jonas D but he haven't really shown any Gp qualities this season in his league racing but a good performance in the SWC so he might get one anyway. I think it also depends on whether Gollob, Adams and Greg are riding in the GPs next season. Holder, Emil, Pavlic, Tai are really great talents but imo they're a bit too young especially the three latter. Riding in the GPs is very demanding, team wise, money wise and mentally and do these talents got what it takes? my selection/prediction: 1. Freddie 2. Nicholls 3. Harris 4. Jonas D -

No it shouldnt. why should anyone else then Smolinski get it? It is still the German GP and Smolinski is the one who was given the WC for the German GP. -

Where did you hear that? -
I'm not so good at danish bit i'll do my best. "scandal track threatens Nicki's gold race. The Danish World Champion Nicki pedersen haven't really got the optimal preparations for the finak gp of the season where he can secure the world Champion title. A Crash and gallstone problems have disturbed his preparations and on friday there were more problmes when the free practice was cancelled due to that the track was way to wet for speedwayracing. Nicki, Crump and Adams where the only to try the very soft (almost swamp like) track and the question is whether the organizers can get the track in order in time for this seasons last GP. -I have my doubts says Nicki , if th etrack isnt better then it was today either someone will get injured or it will get cancelled. We shouldnt ride just to ride, its about the world championship. -Its good for the sport to run on big stadiums but i dont understand why they only can make good temporary tracks in Parken on no where else. I know there organizers dont want to hear it but either its "pokal or Hospital" (~= you might as well end up in the hostpital as with the victory trophy) when we ride on these crap tracks." the other article says that there will be a new short practice session tomorrow at 10.00 but that the riders fear that the GP will be cancelled.
