  1. tonights meetings are marked with blue in the first post. Note that the line ups for Dackarna-Piraterna might look a bit different then what he scoresheet currently says.
  2. i dont live near Målilla but reports from fans are saying no rain since this morning and it looks like the weather might clear up a bit. For Valsarna/Lejeonen i dont know. Svemo has releases a short information about reservedays. Briefly it says: In the negotiations with BSPA, SVEMO suggested Wednesday 19/9 as a rerserve day but BSPA could not accept that since that would mean that Poole would not have a homemeeting for 3 weeks. So it was decided to use Thursday 20/9 instead. This can be read here (in swedish).
  3. Well SVEMO (=Swedish Motorcycle sport Federation) had since before the season scheduled a reserve day at Thursday. Dackarna wanted to change to Wednesday but Piraterna wanted to stick to Thursday. I dont know why SVEMO chose Thursday maybe they wanted to be consequent and use the same weekday (Thursday) throughout the playoffs.
  4. to spice up things even more its expected to rain alot at Målilla tomorow so the meeting will most likely take place on Monday. this is casuing problem for other rider who are occupied with commitments elsewhere.
  5. start list for The Robin Johanssons Benefit Meeting. Many of the up and coming riders of Sweden are participating in this meeting. So IMO this could be very intresting. Well worth a visit. So far the weather forecasts looks quite promising also.
  6. maybe there should be a more dramatic change for 2009? with only top 5 guaranteed a place and with 5 Qualified riders and 5 wild cards?
  7. Vetlanda is through to the semifinal against Västervik after a 45-50 defeat in Avesta against MasarnaAvesta who raced without Adams. The other semi-final between Dackarna and Piraterna is postponed to Thursday because of rain. for complete results see link in first post.
  8. the have a vision yes but they lack the capabilities of putting them into reality and especially as long as Rander and friends is around since they seem to have the visions but also seems to lack the skill of planning and he definitely lacks any skill what so ever when it comes to finances. For how long have they talked about building a new arena? For many many years and still when they were kicked out of Arendal there were no new arena available? I still believe that an arena of Ullevi's size is way too big for a local team and a non appropiate arena for speedway. also i still dont find any excitement in laying a track on top of the running tracks. So what? who's gonna use it? Who knows if kaparna even exists next season or the season 2009...
  9. exciting?? IMO nothing exciting with a team riding on a 40'000 capacity stadium infront of 500-1000 people if the appeal (which i hope) is turned down or infront of 2000 people if they win the appeal. Ullevi is also a cold and windy arena in the west coast which in general is much more rainy then us at the eastern part of the country.
  10. i have added links to the team line ups for the quarterfinal 2nd leg. Se first post.
  11. no i mean with who's in and why and how. Like some one said how did hampel get his spot? Wc or because of hans A qualified via the Gp challenge?
  12. no offense garf but luckily in that heat, the ref saved us from 5 danes in the gp's next year.
  13. there is a possibility that Adams, Greg and Gollob wont ride next year and what do they do then fill it up with nr 4-5-6 from the gp challenge or fill it up with nr 9-10-11... from the final standings? I also think that Holta have had his chances both this season and earlier and i hardly think he will be better next year.
  14. yes 4 WC, 3 Qulaifiers and the top 8th+1 wc for each gp.= 16 riders.
  15. yeah personally i dont like "AJAJAJ" but he is one of those who should be in för 2008. Well i really hope BSI/IMG, or who ever takes the decision, decides NOT to give a WC to Zagar he defenitely havent earned it and from what i have read he have been skipping meetings jsut as much in britain as in sweden with his presumed faked sick-notes "serios head injury".
  16. yeah if it was up to me to decide i would pick Hampel. Both he and Jagus have suffered this season because of Injuries but i think Hampel is the one who should get the *edit* nomination not nominee.
  17. well IMO NKI and Bjarne qualified since they were Danes and are very familiar with the Vojens track however Tomicek and Dryml was surprisingly good though.
  18. well KK showed in World Cup that he can handle pressure. i cant really see that the pressure on him could be any bigger then there.
  19. I small warning, i have tried it myself but those who have registered says that your account wont be activated at once so if you register now maybe you wont be able to view it anyway.
  20. Valsarna took and easy win home over Vargarna and will now face lejonen in the final to decide who will get the promotion. See link in first post for full scores.
  21. I think valsarna vill manage a home win over Vargarna to go to Allsvenskan Finals. I added the link, to tonights semi final, in the first post.
  22. my appologies forgot to post link top vargarna-valsarna, 42-42 with 2 hetas to go. see first post for link.
  23. A benefit meeting will be held for the young prospect Robin Johansson who is paralyzed since a crash earlier this year. This year the meeting will be held at Smedstadion, Eskilstuna, Sweden at Saturday August 30th. race start at 15.00. more info at: http://www.smederna.nu/index.php?page=news&newsid=235 and robinsrace.se/
