my guess is Kaspar he is still young 23 y.o. and i think that he is a bit better and more experienced then Zabik and KK showed in the SWC final that he can perform well even under massive pressure. Another thing that makes me say KK is that he ides in all 3 major leagues; Sweden, Poland and England. That makes him more experienced on a bigger variation of track types from smaller narrower english tracks to larger wider polish tracks. You should not forget youngster Buczkowski either. He might very well be a contender in some 5-6 years from now.

Scandinavian Speedway Grand Prix
Ghostwalker replied to Mr Bee's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No i strongly disagree with that. Scandinavia is solely Sweden and Norway = the two countries that together makes the Scandinavian Peninsula. Neither Finland or Denmark are a part of Scandinavia. You should use "the Nordic Countries" instead of Scandinavia if you want to include Finland and Denmark (and Iceland), Nicki has been the most consistent rider this year but IMO Leigh Adams would be the rider who are most worthy a World Champion Title. For many years he has been up there finishing top 3 or top 5 but somehow he has never manage to climb the final step on the ladder. -

i think he meant in which cities/towns they meetings will be held: this 2 is the confired ones: 7/8 19.00 Kaparna - Dackarna, Mariestad 21/8 19.00 Kaparna - Indianerna, Mariestad Mariestad on a Map -
this isnt really a new thing he has been riding with polish license for a few years now. He also rode for Poland in SWC 2 years ago.

Transfer Window 3 In Sweden Opened
Ghostwalker replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
well dont know exactly how the agreements between teams look like. However all teams must register/unregister their drivers at SVEMO (Swedish Motorcycle Federation). So if a rider moves from one team to another this is how its done (when a rider changes team): 1. The Riders current team sends in paper work to SVEMO to unregister the specific rider. 2. The riders new team have to send in the agreed contract that they have with the rider and registration paperworks to SVEMO so that SVEMO has all paperwork at 8am on the friday after the transfer window closes. Also SVEMO can also decline the right for teams to use new riders that hasnt been registred earlier. At least thats what happened to Smederna in 2002 i think when they wanted to register Kapspar. I dont remember exactly why but kaspar wasn't granted a license for riding in Sweden. -

Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Ghostwalker replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
well i dont really agree it depends on what kind of track a meeting would be held at but i'm quite sure that most Elitserien Teams would win on their home track. On swindons track it would a much harder fight of course and in that case maybe only top 4 would manage win. -
Crump Flies Out To Prague

i think that he is flying in to give it a try on practice tomorrow to see if he even can ride a bike and then decide if he feels fit enough for Saturday. -
Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Ghostwalker replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
yaeh as is aid his first season was quite good with 67+23 points in 11 meetings. Then i dont know what happened he scored very few points the following years probably beasue he turned up with engines only suitable for english tracks. A story that has been repeated several times for Smederna with David, Carl Stonehewer, Shaun tacey (actually he rode for T Bikab in Allsvenskan) and this year Andre Compton. -
Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Ghostwalker replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
dont worry. Hans pushed Nicki out towards the fence NIcki fell ambulance came in Nicki then felt fine or atleast good enough and stood up walked back to the pits and then won the restart. Hans was excluded. -
Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Ghostwalker replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
Yes we WON!!!!! Jagoda overtook Pepe on the finish and man was it nervous. Rory screwed up though in thr 14th heat apparently he used a wrong tireside or something like that resulting that the Indians got a 4-2 instead of a 3-3 and now was 4 ahead instead of 2. But the thanks to Buczek and Roo boy and the Jagodaamd KK we won. Buczek actually managed to take 10 points in his first meeting in sweden for almost 2 months (he has been injured). -
well im no expert but a normal broken bone requires 4-6 weeks to heal. So i dont think Jason will be riding less then a week after the break. Maybe next GP.

Swedish Elitserien Round 12
Ghostwalker replied to Anders's topic in International World of Speedway
There is only one team that you could support Smederna (the smiths). Especially since we have a logo like this: http://penzel.se/forum/images/dbbblue/logo.gif Billy H used to ride for smederna (for 15 seasons actually) but switched to Masarna for this season but things havent really improved for him so i guess that he soon is no longer good enough for the swedish league. -

World Speedway Riders Ranking
Ghostwalker replied to Mariusz Dubi's topic in International World of Speedway
yeah have to agree with Bazaar no offense Mariusz Dubi but i also find your list a bit unaccurate. IMO i.e. Rory Schlein should be much higher has been riding very persistent this year. ANd he is aonly ranked as 53rd? AND Mikael Max who have been i a really poor form this year is ranked 40th?? Could you please specify how you rank the riders? IS it only individual races or is it league as well?
