  1. sure no problem. and while i'm at it the semi final between Vetlanda and Västervik has been cancelled due to rain. It will be held on thursday instead.
  2. as said on first page, 3rd post. no broadcasts are available neither on tv or internet. Tv4 has the rights but they mainly broadcast football. Hopefully a tv channel who has some more interest can buy the rights for next year.
  3. It really doesn't come down to 'where's a good place for a GP', but where a local mug.. errr, promoter can be found to take the financial risk. Well i think Dubai might be a place to start since there is where you find people with really big wallets
  4. weather forecasts for semi finals from smhi.se ; Thuesday: Stockholm: Partially cloudy all day with no rain and temperatures around 13 Celsius during the evening. Vetlanda: Rain during night and early morning. late morning to noon overcast no rain, Afternoon: overcast and rain, evening overcast no rain and about +8 Celsius. Wednesday: Målilla & Västervik:: overcast during night and Morning, partially cloudy during the afternoon and during the evening sunny with temperatures around +5 Celsius. Looking good except for Vetlanda.
  5. Matt Browne made a try at Smedernas B-team, Team Bikab this season without any particular success.
  6. I Agree So Eliminators no tnx. I think that the current system is good since it premiers consistency.
  7. Yes G-burg is a fantastic city but Ullevi is a quite windy and cold arena.
  8. yes but the difference is that the riders will be home during weekdays. Lets say they fly to the GP on thursday and gets back home on Sunday. The rider is home from Sunday afternoon to THursday with no league commitments. Far from every rider has wife and kids.
  9. Well now that you mention it. but dont remember what happened with Jagus if he wasnt good enough or if he wasnt fit after the crash in Eskilstuna. Hampel no idea.
  10. yes but the problem is that the first rounds of the qualifiers are quite early in the season and a rider who would normally manage top 8 might find himelf outside top 8 because of Injuries. I Think AJ, Jagus, Hampel could very well all have been top 8 if they hadn't been injured. So i think the qualifiers needs to be looked over a bit to see how the GP riders that are with in top 8 in the first half of the Gps can be given a chance to qualify as well if they miss top 8.
  11. yeah i agree as you said you dont need to have all Gps between may and september. If you have Gps like in Malaysia and other places where its warm during the whole year, you can without any problem have Gps there when the National Series in Europe either havent started yet or already have finished
  12. Swedish Expert commentator ex-rider Peter Nahlin said that he believed that Adams would not ride next year in the GP.
  13. since BSI prefer nationality before performance i would'nt count out Zagar just yet. I wouldnt be surprised if he gets a wc just because he's slovenian.
  14. Again Money before a good track. Hopefully we can get WC or something like that.
  15. Yeah especially when you look at the start list with allot of young up and coming U21 riders and that "everyone" "always" say that they want more Swedish riders in the Swedish teams. but when they are given the opportunity to see these riders in action either in Allsvenskan or in this case a Benefit Meeting many choose to stay home. Such a shame they missed some really good racing today although i wished that someone could have put up some more opposition Against Eric A who only missed 1p today.
  16. full results: Robin's Race, Results Results Grand Final: 1. Eric Andersson Team Dalakraft 2. Billy Forsberg Västervik 3. Viktor Bergström Västervik 4. Ricky Kling (white not green) Dackarna a good competition with lots of passing. But very poor attendances only 342 people.
  17. No Lejoen had big problems with the track and 1 or 2 more heats would have brought Valsarna to Elitserien. And even if it starting to rain you can wait more then 10minutes before aborting the meeting but both the ref and Lejoen was very eager to abort as soon as possible since Lejonen knew if they aborted they would win. *edit* forgot to mention in heat 13 which they started a lejonen rider laid his bike down and the ref then aborted the meeting. Quite convenient for Lejonen. The Referee was also från Målilla in Småland (Småland is a province in Sweden) and suprise suprise Lejonen is also from Småland.
  18. well its not how its normally done in the series so for some reason SVEMO (as usual) wants to things different. IMO you cant compare Lejoens score after 16 heats yesterday with what Valsarna only achieved after 12 tonight.
  19. too bad you dont undertsand Swedish coz' the "debate at http://www.masarnaavesta.nu/gastbok.cgi is super intense and there are all kinds of accusations and complains going on. about 15 pages since 20.30.
  20. appearently SVEMO screwd up again and decided about new rules for the fianls yesterday, For ages in Sweden if you need to cancel a meeting before heat 16 the bonus is awarded to the team who has the highest total score after the same amount of ridden heats. But a new rule decided about yesterday says that its the full score of the first meeting that counts. Also it seems like lejonen refused to ride simply because they knew if they stopped the meeting after 12 heats they are safe with 3p but if the meeting would go on they would loose with more then 13p... IMO thats unsportsmanlike and almost cheating.
  21. appearently the meeting is canceled and that should mean that Valsarna against all odds made it back to elitserien despite yestrerdays 13p loss. *edit* i've read the opposite as well that lejoen is promoted not sure yet which applies.
  22. the standing tonight after 12 haets is 31-41 and if they have to cancel the meeting the scores will be added to yesterdays scores after 12 heats which was 31-40. Thats makes a total score of 72-71 in favor of Valsarna.
  23. Big drama in Gislaved. 12 heats have been ridden and Valsarna leads 10p and it have started to Rain and no light pour but heavy raining. If the meeting have to bee canceled now and no more heats can be ridden Valsarna is in Elitserien 2008! with a 1p victory.
  24. there is something wrong with the live updates from Gislaved. the laterst result written i Masarnas gästbok says that the standings after 9 heats is: Lejonen 25 Valsarna 29 = 79-70
