  1. nope he scored 9p as nr7 2 days ago so i think he is fine. Besides Aldén other options would have been Daniel Nermark who has been riding very well the latest meetings in Sweden.
  2. no he has pulled out of SWC and is replaced by mr minimum Mikael Max. I'd rather see that they had choosen some one younger like Sebastian Aldén instead of Max who really hasn't been in a good form lately.
  3. Quite expected results, good that Lindgren, Roo-boy and JD managed to go through.
  4. seems like you are right: http://www.speedway.org/fahrer/kroner/index.html
  5. Does anyone know anything about Tobias Kroner? Dutch?
  6. "the page cannot be displayed". but they worked when i tried later.
  7. thanks but i there's a problem with the links, they dont seem to work. *edit* sportowefakty.pl will also cover the Lonigo Semi-final: http://207.218.233.253/zuzel1.htm
  8. well they screwed up big time and lost with a humiliating 8ps. Schlein and Kaspar wasnt as good as they usually are. alot of poor starts from both. By this lost Smederna has most likely lost the chance for playoffs. Atleast the rain that the forecasts promised still haven't showed up making my weather predictions about no rain correct.
  9. two very tough semifinals. My Predcitions: from SF1 (no specific order): Kasprzak Hampel Pedersen Balinski Gapinski L. Dryml Holder from SF2 (no specific order): Walasek Davidsson Schlein Lindgren "pepe" Bjerre Iversen or Ulamek
  10. actually just remembered that they have a 15 year old guy named Ricky Wells. I dont know anything about him here is a clip of him and Billy Hamill: Its Ricky in the white/black outfit (#14 at his back) and Bullet is the one in red and black.
  11. yeah matt browne. the question do they have anyone else to put in?
  12. does anyone know at what time the semi draws are supposed to be made?
  13. what do "we" know about Team USA? Greg, hamill, Janniro?+2 others.
  14. i think its always hard to defend your title. Not many people have done that through the years before not Loram, not Nicki not Crump, not Hancock or Billy Hamill. Its always a big pressure on these riders to perform good in the GP series and when you are the camp its alot of extra pressure and i would guess that its not easy to live up to all that pressure. Its still many races to go in the Gp series but i dont think that crump will be involved in the title fight. I do believe that he will be back on track next year and then be more hungry to re-claim the champ title.
  15. Is this new from this season? from what i can remember last year it was most points after 5 heats. IMO its good though that the semi winners gets to choose first.
  16. according to the swedish commentators they worked with the track all night to get it in a good shape. They also said that alot of the riders had complained on the track during the practice sesson. So i think that person was right but the organizers managed to fix it during the night.
  17. hi sorry but you can find the same thing in this thread: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=35360
  18. full results: http://www.piraterna.se/default.aspx?NodeId=276
  19. Track reserves will be Jonas Davidsson and Sebastian Aldén
  20. sporadic uppdates: http://www.corren.se/archive/2007/6/30/j9mmdymqah7ot8j.xml after 3 rounds: 1. M. Max 8p 2. Balinski, Bjerre, JBj 7p 3.T omasz Gapinski, Kauko Nieminen and Fredrik Lindgren 6p.
  21. And I think you are wrong Ghostwalker then saying that you are not sure if the location is the biggest reason.. Ponder this: the old track Snälltorpet was lying a 5 mins walk from the centra of Eskilstuna and the track was easily reached for the most of Eskilstunas citizens with a nice walk or bicycle. From the other side of Eskilstuna you had to cycle for about max 15 mins to reach the track, you did not need a car to get there. Now: the track is 1.2 Swedish miles out from the central Eskilstuna and just a few bicycle, the majority goes with car and and a handful with the bustransfer. If you were thinking of walking, you shall count on approx 2hours at least one way. People arent walking that distance! Of course the location is a very valid reason that the attendance are that it is. Cheers Mikael <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Alright Mikael now im going to disagree with you again the 2003 season was the best season every according to the stats at smederna.nu this is top13: 1) 4207 2003 Smedstadion League Victory 2) 4047 2001 Snälltorpet 3) 3876 1974 Snälltorpet 4) 3733 2004 Smedstadion 5) 3718 1975 Snälltorpet 6) 3688 1973 Snälltorpet League Victory 7) 3568 2005 Smedstadion 8) 3534 1953 B-plan 9) 3500 1951 B-plan 10) 3500 1952 B-plan 11) 3202 2002 Smedstadion 12) 2931 1999 Snälltorpet if you look at this only 2001 and 1999 is the seasons of Snälltorpet the past 10 years that had attendances at todays level and 2001 was the last year with alot of extra arrangements (according to smederna.nu). So with this i claim that the location of the arena isnt the biggest reason for lower attendances
  22. about tv coverage tv4 who was responsible for the broadcasts said that no one watched. This wasnt so surprising though since it wasnt live and and it was shown at a time when most people were at the arenas watching speedway. However according to a news article SVT (=Swedish BBC) might be interested in showing the play-offs. There were also claims that the interest for next years broadcast rights was quit big so hopefully we will have good coverage from next season. And NO AJ is not the big hope epspecially since there are speedway fans (including me) that doesnt like him or his style to always blame something else then himself when its not going well in the Gps. IMO AJ doesnt have what it takes to become a big star. I rather see that Antonio or JD and Fredrik Lindgren gets more attention.
  23. well www.piraterna.se would be a good place to start. Im not 100% sure that they will have uppdates but we'll se. I also read that Pawl Hlib has pulled out from this meeting: http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/news/a8056
  24. NThe Promotions and releagtions are reglated in the rulkes for the speedway series system. last team in Elitserien is relegated to Allsvenskan and the bottom team in Allsvenskan is relegated to Division 1. In the oher direction the team that wins Division 1 is promoted to Allsvenskan and the team that wins the Allsvenskan playoffs ; teams 2 and 3 meet in a semi final and the winner meets team 1 in the final where the winner is promoted to Elitserien. I hope this was what you wanted to know.
