Svemo published two decision protocols (nr 3 and 4 for this year) with some info/confirmation about rule changes/other changes: Only 4 teams in Allsvenskan, Smederna skips Elitserien this season but their Allsvenskan team so that there will be 4 teams in Allsvenskan. ESS have decided to break the agreement with Svemo about providing 3 teams for Allsvenskan. 6 men teams, heat schedule with fixed gates/start positions. No floor average for 2020. 2020 season entry averages will be frozen which means that the averages will change as normal during the season (to determine reserves R/R and such) but will be reverted after the season to what they are now. 7 transfer cards that teams can used before/during the season until that team has completed 75 percent of it's meetings. With a normal hear schedule Heat 9 and 10 have one reserve from each team. You are also correct that there is no dedicated nr 1 but that teams can choose freely how to place their 5 best riders. Reserves can be non Swedish riders as well. Normally the home team put their best riders at 1,3 & 5. Well it only says straight series with a bonus Derby round so perhaps I mis calculated and that the bonus round is round 8.

It will only be 8 teams since Smederna have decided to sit out this season. They say that they don't want to risk their finances but doing 9 meetings + -"play offs" without spectators. Each team are supposed to be paid 560 000 SEK (about 50 000 GBP) but apparently Smederna don't consider this to be enough. The league will restart on 11 August. Latest runout is re-start in August for Elitserien but with 6-rider line ups and no spectators. I don't really understand how they are going to be able to make it financially viable without spectators. Teams outta bleed money like crazy in such case. Elitserien (Bauhausligan) might be doubtful but I think Allsvenskan and Div 1 might be able to put some meetings in. Youth series will re-start next weekend.

The government announced that practices, knock out tournaments (cups) and regular games/meetings will be allowed from 14th June But the restriction of more than 50 people will remain in place.

There is however a folkrace track and a go cart track about 4-5 km north west of the old Arendal track which is an area that might be suitable for a speedway track. Sort of to put all motorsport in the same place (pretty much like it is in Eskilstuna) rather then having it dotted here and there.

Track has been demolished afaik, note sure if anything has been built on the site yet or if it still is used by NCC as storage for construction materials.

Jerker Eriksson is sceptic about Swedish Elitserien resuming this year. He also says that in his opinion Swedish speedway shouldn't push too hard about restarting. He says that people's health is the most important and that many people have lost their jobs. https://sverigesradio.se/artikel/7472645

According to Dackarna's chairman Thomas Karlsson Elitserien will not start on 2 June. The clubs will have a new meeting on Monday and a new decisions or an announcement is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Polish federation doing as they want again giving the middle finger to the rest of the speedway world. I remember all the buzz when Darcy was over the limit but was allowed to continue racing until several weeks later causing arguments about team points and averages. He has been proven guilty already and should be suspende because otherwise every rider will do the same and claim TEU (get away with doping).
